It’s not texting style. Our government officials just killed too many of their brain cells to finish words. The whole bill is written with with blackberries.

I have been comparing this nonsense to what is real with my company.

First of all it is my understanding that this government option carries pretty high deductibles - so exactly how does this government plan help people - $5000 out of pocket is huge. If someone can’t afford health insurance what makes them believe they can afford this deductible?

In my company our health plan (and I own the company) has no deductible, $10 copay for office visits, and is pretty good. That costs for a single employee about $400 per month - or $4800 per year - less than the $5000 deductible.

For families we pay about $1000 per month. So lets assume that the government just pays these premiums for everybody! Let the private insurers do this - they already have the infrastructure, and the staff to handle it - no need for some big government organization.

The cost?

Figure of the 40 million uninsured, 1/2 are single, the other 20 million are part of a family - so we would need 600,000 family plans, and 20 million singles.

Total cost per year would be about 103 billion - lots of money but about the same as this asinine boondoggle. On the plus side everyone gets their care with minimal out of pocket. Private insurers still exist, you have choices, and all that. With everyone covered cost will probably go down.

And finally TORT REFORM!

I think most people miss the point of this health care
bill. As more of its contents become available, it is
quite obvious.

This bill is a most conclusive step to socialize the USA
Allmost every aspect of each person in the USA, legal or
otherwise will be stored on the Govt's computers.

By everything, I mean personal, financial, health,
background will be merged with all data available.

This will include, IRS data, military service, gun
registrtaion, travel history, employment, education.

You can probabally think of more. ACORN will be the
nucleus of Odumba's version of East Germany's STASI. Notice how swiftly Odumba wants to get this done. He
sees the big picture and will make concessions to pass
this quickly. They can be phased out later.

Perhaps my reputation of having a Cassandra complex
mandates that readers pass this off as hogwash.

“Who actually runs this country?”

Right now it is the marxist ideologues out of the left wing lobby machine. Think marxist university professors, enviro nazi’s, race hustlers, etc.

“I’m getting so fed up with DC I’m willing to alienate a LOT of my lib friends.”

I think it is time for conservative business people to start sending these libs to the unemployment line. I have a friend in the construction business and two of his Obot employees give him grief everyday about being a conservative. I don’t understand why he doesn’t send them packing. They would be out the door if it were me.....lol.

My Obot sister and I are not even on speaking terms since we had a fight over this bill last week. Obama is turning families against each other with this left winged crap. Obama has no mandate for any of this!!

hopefully all of the brazen anti-Life provisions will force the Catholic Church to come out four-square against it and drive the last nail in the coffin

Pg 241 Line 6-8 HC Bill - Doctors, doesnt matter what specialty u have, you'll all be paid the same

More specificially, payment is based solely on the service, not the credentials of the provider. What this means is that when you go to see the 'doctor' you are much more likely to see a Nurse Practioner of LPN, not a real doctor.

List doesn’t mention that the bill includes racial preferences.

Then why does the flowchart list the following:

1) Office of minority health

2) Office of civil rights

Michael Steel, etc

While I'm not a Michael Steele fan, your tarnishing him is unfair. To his credit (albeit late, as usual) he did make a statement in the past couple of days denouncing Obama's DeathCare as "socialist".
