2 more and that’s enough for a constitutional amendment right? or a constitutional convention?

now 36 other states have introduced similar resolutions

Now, if one or two of those States pass a law requiring that a presidential candidate show proof of eligibility in order to get on the ballot, things might get interesting.

We need a Constitutional Amd to assert an existing Amd?

It will be interesting to see what ultimately happens with this state sovereignty movement. It will take one tough governor and state legislature to tell the federal government to stick it where the sun don’t shine when they start threatening to take away federal money.

Here in Arizona, four Cabinet Secretaries sent threatening letters to our governor simply because one our senators, Jon Kyl, was making disparaging remarks about Obama’s stimulus plans. Because of what he was saying, they threatened to take away funding for various federal projects. That’s the type of hardball these thugs are playing, and who knows what they’ll threaten if a state really does stand up to them. I’d like to live in that state, wherever it is, when that showdown comes.

Governor Perry mentioned something about secession in Texas, but Governor Palin was the first to take this kind of step. . . Wonder if Texas will be next . . . wow....

It says 36 states have had legislation introduced. Passing and signing is something else. What’s the problem with Republicans in the other 14?

introducing and passing it into law are vastly different... only a few states have signed it I think
