We are making a difference, maybe too much of a difference. We have been attacked by every blogger who wants to see his name in lights. Yet they can't even spell his name right.
If you believe that Jim Robinson is a radical nutjob, if you believe all the bloggers jumping on the anti-Free Republic bandwagon, please do not contribute to the fundraiser.
If you're not one of those people, please click on the link below.
Is there a reward?
When life hands you a lemon, make lemonade. There’s always a way to use your opponents’s own actions against them. I’m sure the creative minds here can do what’s needful.
The more they scream the more sure I am that we are on the right track!<>P
BUAIDH NO BAS !
It’s a damned shame. There already is a legitimate jimthompson.com...........otherwise much lemonade!
thanks...I’ve been meaning to donate but have been negligent...this thread gave me the kick in the butt I needed....
kick it into gear NYers!!!
Jean I am with you to the end.
Thank you, Jean S!
Yes, the left does seem to be up in ARMS recently and in a panic over some of my, er, more colorful rhetoric, so guess my commentary is squarely over the target.
For example:
Free Republic Founder Calls for Revolution
http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/34227_Free_Republic_Founder_Calls_for_Revolution
Jim Robinson, founder of right wing website Free Republic, has decided hes going to toss out the results of the last election, remove Barack Obama from office, repeal the 16th and 17th amendments to the US Constitution (and Roe v. Wade, of course), abolish a host of federal agencies, and give all governmental power to individual states: If we could get millions of Americans to march on Washington, what would we do?
The best part: hes going to make Hillary Clinton president.
But dont worry. Sure, hes calling for a revolution, but its going to be non-violent. (Nudge nudge, wink wink.)
Woo hoo!!
And here’s another:
Free Republic Founder: Overthrow despotic government
http://www.gop12.com/2009/07/free-republic-founder-overthrow.html
The founder of Free Republic, Jim Robinson, pens a radically anti-government screed, calling for the immediate removal from office of President Obama, Vice-President Biden, and “all U.S. Senators and U.S. Representatives”.
When, you might ask?
“Effective immediately,” he answers.
And then, get this, he actually lays out concrete steps for executing the coup. How serious is this? Hard to tell.
You have to keep reading, but yeah, it appears he’s given some thought to it all.
ROFLOL!
Yup. Some real serious thought, like all of an hour or so that it took me to paraphrase a few paragraphs from our founding documents and apply them to the left’s 100 year despotic take over of America. I also threw in a couple lines from John Wayne’s Rooster Cogburn and George C. Scott’s Patton just for flavor.
Sheesh, next time I’ll take a little more time and possibly quote from Apocalypse Now to really make their heads explode.
And here’s another:
Hey, Kids! Lets Overthrow the Government
http://themoderatevoice.com/39884/hey-kids-lets-overthrow-the-government/
I only noticed this story, for which I can find no suitable adjective, because it was highlighted and responded to by Rick Moran at Right Wing Nuthouse. Its from Free Republic honcho Jim Robinson, who apparently is unhappy with the performance thus far of President Obama and the Democratic controlled Congress, and seeks a remedy to this untenable situation by marching millions of people to Washington, D.C. and overthrowing the government.
Rick, (a well known, closeted leftist sympathizer) as usual, throws cold water all over this wonderful idea in his Sunday column, titled, Why I Want America to Continue to Toil Under the Oppressive Yoke of a Socialist Communist Tyrant. Moran seems to fear the minor inconveniences which might result from immediately dismantling our entire governmental, social, societal and security infrastructure. What a wuss!
Conservatives will laugh this kind of thing off as an aberration. But I am telling my fellow righties that we ignore this crap to the detriment of the rest of us who oppose the administrations actions. With pop-cons like Hannity, Beck, Coulter, and other conservative celebrities mouthing some of this nonsense (while implying even worse) on a daily basis, more and more of the base are turning into unhinged, screaming maniacs who believe America is being destroyed by Obama and the liberals.
This screed is symptomatic of the sickness of thought and reason that afflicts many conservatives today - more than we are prepared to acknowledge and far more than one would normally expect from a philosophy that supposedly prides itself on prudence, rationality, and probity.
Im pretty unhappy with the direction this administration and Congress is taking us in terms of the economy and our domestic agenda. In fact, Im more than unhappy. Im getting close to a full panic. But sending millions of armed citizens to the capitol just might be a teeny, weenie bit of an overreaction. Read both of the linked items in full. And if you have the stomach, read some of the list of comments already piling up at Free Republic in response to it. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
Woo hoo!!
What a bunch of morans, wimps, wannabes and wussies!
Yup be afraid, very afraid. Jim Robinson and the Freepers are going to march into DC, fire the president, vice president, the senate and the congress and right all leftist wrongs.
Way to go!! Wish I had known before that I had such power and that the left would fear me so.
FreeRepublic.com, kissing the left and making them cry since 1776, er, 1996.
ROFLOL!!
Thanks, I’m not the fundraiser type but this really annoyed me.
It’s spelled ‘bandwagon’. That said, yea, what you said.
I think we enjoy taking donations from liberals.
Go,Get em Jim
Exactly. They can’t win so they will try and throw as many stones as they can to denigrate the conversations here.
By the way, I can't do this. But our founding fathers laid it out in plain English for all to see. I know the left is pretty smart on these matters, but they should look it up anyway. Clue: It's in the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

“Kissing the left and making them cry”
Now, THAT’S funny!
Bite their *$$, tiger!
LOL!
There are some parallels there.
A mad man that needs to be taken out for the sake of humanity.
(DHS be watching you boy)
I smell a John Birch Society hit job...
Well....we've already got one impeachment to our credit....an outright "firing" of one of these critters would be icing on the cake.
Oh, my. I may have went a quote too far without even quoting it. Is that grounds for hanging?
Their leftist agenda is pure utopia hogwash and straight out of the socialist agenda and the Communist manifesto === more taxation, more spending and a larger more intrusive federal bureaucracy.
Stealing freedom and liberty from the American people is not what the Founding Fathers had in mind back when they created our Republic.
(They'll just move your name higher up on the list.)
