All I can say is watch your back Bernard and maybe have some one send you a donut to sit on and plenty of Preparation H!

Just treatment.....just ask some of those who lost major amounts of money with him, you know, those same ones that wanted him strung up by his manhood...

I think it’s a safe bet that Bernie will have his own room with food service 23 hours a day. 2 showers a week and his own personal toilet/sink.

The last article on this subject stated that Madoff was a respected "stand up guy" for not ratting out his co-conspirators.
More in depth reporting, it looks like.

I’d be surprised if this actually happens at Butner. Whole lot worse places to be sent if you get booted from the more comfy confines of Butner.

Smacking around an old man?
I think incarceration is enough punishment. Incidentally, our Social Security in a Ponzi scheme too and no one is going to jail over it.

Not rat out the co-conspirators. . .isn’t that the same as “no snitching?”
That should count for something among the brain-dead scum in prison that took LIVES and raped the innocent.

Just treatment No, it isn't. If we, as a society, do not believe in corporal punishment then we cannot allow nameless agents of the state to administer such punishment.

Wouldn’t bother me in the least if some of the residents decided to administer their own form of justice in this case. Maybe after a few rounds of tender mercies, he might be inclined to talk a little.

Apparently, you have mistaken me with someone who does not believe in “corporal punishment.”

He’ll be in special housing if there’s a credible threat to or action against him.

They plan to increase their reputations by beating up an elderly nerd whose only exercise for the last half century involved telling other people to move fraudulent numbers from bank account to bank account?
I guess if they were smart, they wouldn’t be in prison in the first place.

Actually, there were rumors back in February that Madoff might have ripped off some Russian mobsters. Do a Google search and see what you find.
It might be why he’s refused to name accomplices (because there is no way he did this all on his own). He doesn’t want to get whacked.
