Honduras Talks in Costa Rica Break Down After Announcement of Zelaya
Local News ^ | 07/19/2009 | Cynthia Moreno

It was just announced that talks broke down in Costa Rica after an earlier announcement of Zelaya saying he refuses to accept that he cannot persue the 4th ballot box that was already ruled illegal. There was also a disagreement on his return since he would have to face trial before any consideration of anything would be given.

Waiting for the “outrageous” comment from the Whitey House.

Hang in there, Chica.

Zelaya and his group of thugs are nothing more than a bunch of pendejos.

Far better to kill communists than talk to them.

Zelaya used a mob to attack a military warehouse. Since leaving he has called on his followers to topple the current government through insurrection. Zelaya is a traitor.

The people of Honduras and their legislature and Supreme Court knew that the blow against liberty and republican principle was being planned and carried out by Zelaya himself as he tried to institute a referendum calling for changing the Honduras constitution. That referendum was illegal and not a due process under the Honduras constitution for changing the constitution.

The Supreme Court of that nation ruled against it (properly so) and the President was planning to use the Executive Branch to implement it anyway. That's when the Supreme Court and a majority of the legislature called for the military's assistance...and they gave it, in support of the Hionduras constitution which Zelaya was attempting to subvert.

And so the telling thing about what happened in Honduras is this: EVERY Marxist in the Western Hemisphere is against it, including the Marxist Obama who is arm-and-arm with his marxist friends, Chavez and Castro on this.

That tells you that what the Honduras military did at the request of its Supreme Court and w/support from its legislature was correct, and avoided a move by Marxists to circumvent the Honduran constitution and entrench marxism in Honduras.

Bravo for the Honduras Supreme Court and military...and down with Obama's marxist dogma, policies, and ideology!

Well as you know there were two comissions one representing Zelaya and one representing Micheletti. Anyhow there were seven points in the agreement and the first one was the return of Zelaya to power immediately..however according to Honduran law this is illegal since the president does not have immunity and broke the law. Also, early today Zelaya called his comission and reemed them out about accepting a deal to not go forward with the 4th ballot constitutional change in order to throw out the constitution and extend his rule.
Basically this means that because of hard heads that don´t understand that the president in Honduras is subject to the law like a normal citizen...that tomorrow we will probably wake up in a civil war and a nightmare.

P.S.

In the end, it will be more about saving their own hides and will leave Zelaya to save himself.

Stay safe.

Yes, it most certainly has. Chances are he will try to enter somewhere tonight with a guerrilla militia and then we will fall into a war...I hate to think that we are going to kill one another over this imbecile who spent 3million dollars on creating statues of himself instead of feeding the poor and helping them have running water and electricity and paved roads...yes, in certain areas of Honduras there are still people who bathe in the rivers, don´t have lights, and even in wealthy and middle class areas of the larger cities there are neighborhoods with no paved roads..mine is middle class and we still have dirt roads...we are being ´punished´even though we were scheduled for pavement because we would not go along with his illegal plans...and 3/4 of my neighborhood are Liberals...gad! Many of them have hidden their liberal banners in shame and cannot believe what is unraveling before their eyes. Most say...what an incredible mistake.
Not that they voted for a liberal...but that they accidentally voted for a communist wanna be dictator.

So Zeleya disagreed with his own commission of supporters, at today's talk, for them agreeing to a deal to not press forward with the ballot vote to change the constitution?

Why would they agree to this, if they represent him? That is odd?

Frightening. Remember God protects His people and opposes the proud. Zelaya is a proud man, and Hondurans a good people. Very much thinking about and praying for you and your country during this time. Strength to you. Don’t give up, and take care of yourself.

Strange that the US press never mentions this. But then, I'm waiting for the first Obama statue to go up somewhere here...

Do you live in Honduras? Please keep us posted and stay safe. There is nothing we can do because our own personal leftist would-be dictator is obviously on the side of Zelaya, even though Hillary Clinton has backed off somewhat.

But I don't trust her either.

Don’t feel bad...that’s what the liberals here did too (voted for a communist wanna be dictator).

Best wishes—we will be praying for the people of Honduras! Hope this ends peacefully.....

I don’t know how to say this to make sense…There is a difference fighting for your homeland in you own country as opposed to strangers coming in and being rude and stupid with their supply line far away.

If they can’t run over Honduras in a few hours, they are shark bate.

Maybe somebody else can explain this with more clarity.

P.S. again.

They simply don’t have the country on their side except for few pendejos.
