Politico: “Stimulus tour” “52 of the 66 events were in states that backed Obama.” The other 14 events were in states that Obama lost only narrowly. A new study released by USA Today also finds that counties that voted for Obama received about twice as much stimulus money per capita as those that voted for McCain.
"The stimulus bill is designed to help those who have been hurt by the economic downturn.... Do you see disparity out there in where the money is going? Certainly," a Democratic congressional staffer knowledgeable about the process told FOXNews.com. "The people to talk to are in the administration.... The administration is deciding where [the money] flows."
An Obama administration official told FOXNews.com that "it is not as simple as looking where the money goes. You could have someone who lives in Maryland and works in Virginia and they are benefited from money given to the Virginia firm even though they live in Maryland." She also noted that it didn't really matter who got the money because "giving out money is good for everyone. If you give the money to an old person, they will spend it and that will create more jobs."
She also said that Congress was responsible for deciding where the money would go. "We didn't write the bill. We let Congress write the bill," she said.
Lee Ohanian, an economics professor at UCLA who has extensively studied New Deal policies and depressions, told FOXNews.com that the spending patterns our study found "certainly don't fit what you would think that they would be from the standpoint of government spending as a social safety net.... The pattern does seem quite odd. It is certainly not the way the program was advertised."

President Obama said his vice president would oversee the implementation of the $787 billion economic stimulus package.
Obama made the announcement today before the National Governors Association in Washington, saying Biden will not only ensure that the cash is distributed, but make sure it is “also efficient and effective.”
“The fact that I’m asking my vice president to personally lead this effort shows how important it is for our country and future to get this right,” Obama said.
In his new role as stimulus czar, Biden, 66, would meet regularly with congressional lawmakers, governors and mayors to make certain their efforts in reviving the economy are both effective and swift.
By state? More likely by religion.

During the debate over the stimulus plan, Biden declared there was a “30 percent chance we’re going to get it wrong.”
Those comments prompted Obama to later say, “You know, I don’t remember exactly what Joe was referring to, not surprisingly.”
If I lived in an economically hard-hit state, I’d be happy that this “stimulus” has passed me by.

“As we go along,” Biden told the assembled government officials, “I’m going to be a bit of a pain in the neck.”
He said he would call the group together each week to report to him on how the massive stimulus fund was being used, saying he would not “hesitate to go on television” to embarrass those in the federal, state and local governments who were misspending the money or not using it quickly enough.
Earlier Wednesday, Biden warned that if states don’t use federal stimulus money as intended, the Obama administration may take the money back.
Appearing Wednesday on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” Biden said the money “cannot be squandered” and warned that states will be held to unprecedented accountability.

At first glance, the White House got ripped off. Twitter Inc., the fastest-growing social network, didn’t even raise that much money in its third venture funding round last year.
Some website designers had similar first impressions when asked about the contract.
“That’s insane,” said Brad Crowell, a Los Angeles-based Web designer who worked on a now-defunct media-rich social network. “I would never have to work again in my life... It doesn’t even take a million dollars a year to keep a site up.”
Because it isn't about finding solutions to problems - and never has been for them. It's all about (1) the consolidation of power; (2) greed; and (3) the expansion of The Dependency Class into the Middle Class -- adding a whole new generation of people to the ranks of those who must depend on government for their survival. Tax policies are set up for the redistribution (or destruction) or wealth; health care is entirely about #3, and the Porkulus was about #1 and #2. Oh yeah: Cap-n-Tax is also about crushing the middle class and forcing dependence on Washington.
Yep, worst off states seen less stimulus. Who to blame? Congress? Øbama Administration? Biden?
It’s all part of Obama’s plan to start an internal revolution in America.
By failing to stimulate those states where he lost, he generates anger and the hopelessness towards the US government. By stimulating those states where he won he builds a ready base of devoted supporters particularly amongst the those ethnic minorities he appeals to, meanwhile the economy heads for a collapse that is preventable.
Obama wants the economy to collapse.
Obama wants rioting in the street.
Obama wants bloodshed in America.
Obama wants revolution.
Obama wants the destruction of our nation.
That’s his goal,
that’s the goal of everyone he has surrounded himself with,
that is his very purpose in life.

Smartronix will get $18 million to fix up recovery.gov.” Napolitano later asked: “[H]ow is it decided who gets this money? Does it have anything to do with politics? Could politics possibly be playing a role?” During the discussion, onscreen text read: “Recovery.gov Is a Gold Mine For Firm That Has Ties To Steny Hoyer” and “firm execs gave $19,000 to Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-MD).”
I think they’ll use their control of health care in whatever way they think is best to control us.
My son-in-law designs web sites for a living. I’m sure I could convince him to take on the job for Recovery.gov for $100,000 or so!

A great argument for a massive tax cut instead of a massive “stimulus”. If it doesn’t matter who “get’s” the money, it shouldn’t matter who get’s to keep the money.
