All funding for the UN and UN facilities are suspended.
Absolutely. There is no constitutional provision for funding the U.N. or any other international political organization. No domestic ones either. We draw the U.S. Treasury’s purse strings up tight!
It’s not a slush fund for politicians or do gooders.
We fund only the military, the congress, the courts and those sub departments actually enumerated and authorized by the U.S. Constitution.
No entitlements. No welfare. No transfer payments. No subsidies. No feel good or do good projects of any kind. No arts, no education, no welfare, no health, no environment, no science, no space, nothing. Nothing that is not expressly authorized.
Anything not expressly enumerated and authorized in the constitution as a power for the central government is reserved to the states and the people.
I see nothing ambivalent or difficult to understand about that.
If the people decide to fund the U.N. or health, education, welfare, science, the arts, the environment or any other social cause, all they need to do is pass and duly ratify a constitutional amendment authorizing it. Not a single penny will be spent from the U.S. Treasury until that is accomplished.
