Don't blame me, I warned freepers that Martinez had a past history as a liberal trial lawyer and "go-along-to-get-along" type political hack, but legions of freepers were promoting him as the 'true conservative' in the primary.
And they wonder why I question their judgment now...

I wonder if those that supported Lindsey Graham feel similarly...

John Ziegler was mocking Lindsey yesterday, saying he’s a great date, but you don’t get a good night kiss. (I’ll leave that one alone.) He also called him the football team that roars down to the one yard line and then takes a knee.

If the RNC can’t control these loose cannons I can see no reason to support the RNC!

A Martinez voted to confirm a Sotamayor? I am shocked. The sooner this Rino is out of office the better.

Lets face it...there are forty DINOs and RINOs in the senate. Most of the senate are not capable of reading more than five pages of text in one day...even if you forced them. The comprehension level of one quarter of the senate...is that of a fifth-grade class. If you truly investigated all one hundred of these folks....ten ought to be in prison.

Joke of the day
"Judge Sotomayor is knowledgeable of the law, would be a fair and impartial judge, and seems to have a good understanding of the limited role the judiciary plays in our democracy."~ M. Martinez

Huh? I must have missed where anyone argued Lindsey Graham was the "true conservative" in the primary. He didn't have a primary opponent in 2002, and I don't recall anyone -- including myself -- claiming Lindsey Graham was soooo much more conservative than primary challenger Buddy Witherspoon in 2010, like the "McCollum's a RINO" crowd claimed about that scumbag Martinez.
Sorry field, you're compared apples to oranges here. Lindsey Graham ain't the most conservative guy in the world, but I dare say he's a hair to the right of McCain's previous bff in the Senate, Fred Thompson. :-p

Billy, you keep flogging a dead horse on Martinez. You can’t claim superiority on your opinion of him at the start when you’ve consistently defended the creepy Graham.

He’s making sure that he’s replaced by an even bigger leftist RINO, the Orange Menace, Crist. He opposes Rubio (because he’s a Conservative).

40 DINOs ? There isn’t a single DINO in the Senate, not since Zell Miller retired.

Field, show me ANY example of a freeper claiming Lindsey Graham was much more conservative than Buddy Witherspoon and your analogy to Martinez would make sense. Go ahead, show me where I claimed Witherspoon was a RINO and Graham was a "100% solid conservative". You can't, so your anaology is B.S.
I can probably find dozens of posts from freepers who insisted RINO Martinez was an outstanding conservative candidate and far better than Bill McCollum and Johnnie Byrd.

I agree with you, and I don't call for them to read anything, just to go home and leave us alone.
But I do think a lot of our people are routinely blackmailed. Both sides recruit scoundrels. Only one side pays for it.
It's no coincidence that Clinton's people took down two successive house leaders (Gingrich and Livingston) over philandering while he was frolicking with Monica.
