As Congress prepares to consider President Obama's health care reform this week, the legislation is drawing opposition from both sides of the aisle. At a press conference on Tuesday afternoon, ten lawmakers warned that the current draft of the health care bill will force taxpayers, businesses and insurance providers to pay for abortions...

1.) Obama, Pelosi, Reid and other liberals want taxpayers, businesses and insurance providers to pay for abortions.
(As Rush says, government is god to liberals and abortion is their sacrament).
2.) Attempts to amend the health care bill, so that taxpayers, businesses and insurance providers will not be forced to pay for abortions, have been stopped.
3.) Pelosi is now trying to worm her way out by saying that amendments can come up for as vote later on. IOW, She will allow amendments now that line up with what she and other liberals want, but she won't allow amendments now that counter her and other libs agenda.
Apparently she hopes that she can stonewall her way to victory, and give Obama time to wear opposition down.
What say you?
I say San Fran Nan better be nicer to the Blue Dogs, otherwise ObamaCare will go down in flames.
To repeat my idea. Since Obama wants to provide health care for all, under maternity care, include the health of the unborn. Then since they have memory, instead of being killed, they will remember that Obama saved them.

Calling, faxing, and e-mailing....at least they’re gonna know I’m not for this garbage!
So they take out the funding for abortions....so what?!
First, if they do that, it might attract RINO votes.
Second, they stil get socialized medicine.
Third, there is nothing stopping a future Congress from putting abortion funding back in.
THIS IS A STUPID ARGUMENT!
Just fight against the entire bill, regardless of provisions.

Call, fax, e-mail all your representatives and sign the petition as well — have your like-minded friends and relatives do the same — this is WAR.
....make you your representatives know it’s ALL of the Obamacare garbage you do NOT support, not just abortion funding.

My “benchmark lib” was typical on this topic.
When I said something about the gov’t paying for abortions with our tax dollars, she said they weren’t. (first reaction, denial)
Then I showed they were, and I got some sort of “that’s a good thing because...” (2nd reaction, justification)
this upsets me but not as much as requiring social security people to be given the option for and counseling on assisted suicide every 5 years (MANDATORY)
Who ever wrote that provision should seriously have some mental health care.
Who is writing this stuff for Obama in the health care proposal Joseph Goebbels or Rham Emanuel?
(hard to tell the difference, they look and act the same - with the same ideology as well)
