And if the Gorilla Glue doesn’t work, time to break out the good-ol’-boy NASCAR “two-hunnert-mahl-n-hour tape”. That’ll pin O down.

worth a click.
You are correct but let's not let facts get in the way of a good hit piece.
Just another example of why the left loves to use
“protected classes”
to push their fascist agenda.
Whenever someone criticizes them on policy or behavior,
you can silence them with the “racist” accusation.
LOL, nice!
The problem is that they will use the “whiteness” of the glue is keeping the black man down.
Those are preemptive strikes—when a person can’t make it on their merits-they need an excuse for their bad behavior or performance, or, if it’s inexcusable, they need to try and pre-emptively shut down any criticism or potential negative consequences of their actions.
This has worked for some time now with all too many people—I’m glad to see it’s finally getting called out.
Oh, please. What infantile garbage.(Not you, Sub-Driver—the race baiters on the left, like the politico writer who ignores the clear meaning of the AP story and creates racial meaning where there is none.)
The premise of the Politico writer’s article is that Zell Miller “hit the racial tripwire.” But it’s the Politco hack (Glenn Thrush) himself who does that. He cites no one who thinks it was a racial comment—just piles high his own stereotypes then points to the steaming pile and says, “See?”
Could Thrush be more obvious about his agenda? Zell is cast as the old, white boy southerner (and you know what THAT means, wink wink), while Thrush makes booga-booga sounds around the word “gorilla” and imputes Freudian motivations out of the thinnest of cloth.
This Thrush-thing asks, why not Elmer’s glue, or stick-um or a wad of gum? BECAUSE, you race-baiting moron, none of those things is the appropriate product name to carry the metaphor. The point of Zell’s comment was that Obama should stay put in the US of A, not that the prez should have goo on his ass.
Of course, Thrush knows that. But it’s way more fun to play the race card than to be an honest commentator.
They make a bunch of tapes as well as construction grade glue. You can wrap a cheap wooden frame with Gorilla Tape ~ and take your painting to the end of semester show at the gallery without spending a small fortune for a better frame.
Because. Gorilla glue is billed as twice the strength of Elmer's, just as Gorilla tape is twice the adhesive of duck tape. Miller was just going for the current state-of-the art glue. Any guy who is a handyman, which is everybody in red country, knows this. I would never have thought anything racial about Miller's comment. Never, of course, until some feckless lib inferred it for us.
But Bush is a chimp.
“Guess Im a racist, but didnt realize it.”
Yes, it is insidious. Like thoughtcrime in general and Goldsteinism in particular, you may be guilty and entirely unaware fo your guilt.
Cause Gorilla glue sticks to EVERYTHING, and there is NO getting it off, once its down, its DOWN.
Thats how I feel too.
“Armed with what? SPITBALLS?” Still the best line EVAH in a political speech.
Could have suggested Tar. That’d get him stuck up real good.
I suspect the author is playing with semantics here. In GA you don’t register for a party, you declare each time at the polls when you go to vote and they hand you the proper ballot. Thus, once someone is formally out of politics and just a private citizen, in the strictest sense of the words they could be called a former member of their party.
That said...no, I really wouldn’t consider him a former Dem in truth, but he’s one of the good guys...straight shooter and not a cringing coward like most of em. He’s pretty beloved in GA.
As a woodworker, Gorilla Glue is the best stuff out there. It works fast and lasts a long time.
Oh No. another racist thread on FR.
What will they attack us with this time? Will Jim Thompson back down and apologize? Will Olberman lose pop a vein? Will DailyKos write more bad stuff about us? Should we hide under our beds?
