Anti-Tea Party Correspondent's Contract Not Renewed by CNN By Noel Sheppard Created 2009-07-17 10:52
The last time we saw [0] CNN correspondent Susan Roesgen, she was arguing with folks at the April 15 Tea Party in Chicago claiming the event was "anti-government, anti-CNN [and] highly promoted by the right-wing conservative network Fox."
Although CNN officials won't blame the decision specifically on this event, the network has decided not to renew her contract.
All together now: Aaaaaawwww.
As reported [1] by TVNewser Thursday:
TVNewser has learned CNN correspondent Susan Roesgen [2]'s contract will not be renewed and she will be leaving the network. [...]
Roesgen took a break for a few weeks after that reporting and returned to the air [3] in May covering the Drew Peterson arrest. Most recently, she covered Michael Jackson's death from Los Angeles. Roesgen joined CNN in 2005.
When TVNewser asked whether Roesgen's comments at the Chicago tea party rally had anything to do with her not being renewed, a CNN spokesperson said, "I can't comment on personnel matters."
So is it actually possible that doing a poor job really can have some consequences in the news industry today?
Who'd have thought it?
Hopefully, this is the first of MANY! Now if we could get rid of 0lberboy and Chrissy Matthews, I would declare a personal holiday to celebrate.

When there are 100 people standing behind you waiting for your job, the answer is a resounding "yes!!"
How long before she gets picked-up to spew her anti-Americanism on MSNBC?
I’m sure the offer for a prime-time slot on MSNBC is in the mail
cry me a river.
you got that right.........she’ll be bashing that guy Jim Thompson
HAAAAA! Good riddance!
Now, if only Zero’s contract could get cancelled...
I wouldn’t read too much into it - CNN is getting killed in ratings, financially they will have a lot of motivation to shed a lot of employees, and her number may have been up for a lot of reasons. That said, I say, “Say bye!”
Welcome to the Obama Economy! Sure would be nice my business taxes were a little lower. I was hoping of looking to hire a confrontational dimwitted ex-journalist.
And I would argue they are getting killed in ratings, specifically because of hacks like her.
Aaaaaawwww.
Getting in the tank for the ‘Bama has driven the left wing MSM off the edge of the earth, and they’re beginning to regret it. Sorry, but their fate is tied to the ‘Bama’s, and where he goes, they go.
They only have to leave when they get called out on their bias. MSNBarakC is so blatently in the tank, none of their people will be forced out.
Does Obama have a Harpy Czar yet?
There's always MSNBCBS, PBS and the remainder of the Obama-Goebbels media.
Rahm will find her a job in the Messiah administration.
(What does Hannity call him? Rambo dead fish Emmanuel—something like that...)
