Chris Matthews, a Catholic Obama enthusiast, insisted that including abortion services in the health bill is "the last thing Obama needs. The issue's complicated and divisive and controversial enough without bringing abortion into it." But then Matthews adds the kicker: "He goes over to see the pope and says they're going to reduce the number of abortions, and then that same week he pushes to subsidize abortion? You can't do that!"
The tingle is gone.

Of course our taxes will pay for abortion. And euthanasia. And doctors and nurses will be forced to participate in those procedures or lose their licenses.
Also coming - our taxes paying for aids treatment for the millions of aids patients who will be streaming into the country for the free care.

When will the Black Americans realize that these abortions are reducing their own people? Look at Justice Ginsberg’s horrendous statement concerning this very topic, her racial prejudice is almost unbelievable. Where are the mainstream media types on this issue and why isn’t Jesse and Al speaking out? I feel sure that the Pope knows exactly what Barry’s intentions really are and who is the main target for these murders.

Did he lie?
I have to say, there are some people so disconnected from the truth that "lie" doesn't really cover it. The idea that their words ought to be bound by some arbitrary notion of factual "truth" simply doesn't mean anything to them. Words are tools. Whatever words you must use to effect a purpose, those are by definition the right words. Facts are malleable and can be shaped to suit. Truth is a work in progress.

Rep. Chris Smith said, "Obamacare is the greatest threat ever to the lives and wellness of unborn children and their mothers since Roe v. Wade was rendered in 1973." Chris Smith is so great on life issues, it is a shame he is so bad on most other things, like his vote for Cap and Trade.
