MoveOn rakes in $120K+ off Palin email @ 11:01 am by Jeremy P. Jacobs
In yet another example of Sarah Palin's lightning rod quality, MoveOn.org has raised over $120,000 in just a day after sending out an email criticizing the Alaska governor and asking for money.
On Wednesday, MoveOn sent an email to supporters criticizing Palin's op-ed on energy issues in the Washington Post. The group asked for money to run an ad in response to Palin.
At the time of this writing on Thursday, MoveOn has raised $124,000 and has extended its goal to $200,000.
Palin has a high favorability rating among Republicans but remains a very divisive figure among the general public, according to polling released Thursday. A slightly higher - though not statistically significant - percentage few her unfavorably than view her favorably.
For liberal groups like MoveOn, that can translate into dollars, as this indicates.
Holy Moly! Wow!
A whole 124,000 dollars, I’m sooo impressed.
Is there any doubt that should Sarah actively
solicit donations, it would be substantially
more than that?
Proof that they are scared of Sarah. If she was ‘over’, they wouldn’t bother.
Amazing how in the corrupt, state-run media Sarah Palin is intentionally and perjoritively labeled “controversial”, yet MoveOn.org and their practices escape similar labeling.
Why - exactly - is Sarah Palin “controversial”? Because she opposes lord Obama’s policies? Or because liberals continue to use the politics of personal destruction toward her and that is the real source of controversy?

2.4 cents
Not as divisive as George Soros' lackeys at Move On.Org.
About MoveOn.org Civic Action
MoveOn.org Civic Action, a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization, is engaged in a campaign to reform the media
“yet MoveOn.org and their practices escape similar labeling.”
They’re known in state-run media circles as “grass roots.”
That makes this story little different than propaanda.
Interesting that the Democrats are already calling out their fatcats to beat up on Sarah.
Counterpunch by heading to http://www.sarahpac.com and help the Gov!
I’m hoping that Palin is going to start a Moveon.org type of organization. Without organization, we are doomed. Kiss America goodbye.
Great....lets suck the Dem money machine dry for non working Palin attacks.
Spend that money in useless fruitless Palin attacks.
MoveOn.org claims to have 8 million members nationwide, yet they get only $124,000? How much of that comes directly from Soros himself funneled through the accounts of different donors?
I always enjoy pointing out that Soros is a self-admitted Nazi collaborator during WW2 in his native Hungary, and seems quite proud of it. His tactics make it appear that he liked what he saw.
That’ll buy exactly one ad.
i really need to make a ‘donate now’ button targeting the liberal kool-aid drinkers.
they would give their $$ thinking i would bash Sarah.... thus draining fanatic $$ from the opposition. and in true JJackson form, i would end up with 99.5% going to ‘administrative overhead’
They raised $120,000. SarahPAC has raised $200,000—without a single email appeal—since her resignation announcement.
120,000 = 1 TV ad. LOL!
I would like MoveOn to ask their contributors which of the following statements is more true:
A. Democrats believe all political participants, including themselves, are obligated morally to uphold the Constitution’s role as the nation’s controlling law.
B. Democrats believe the Democrat party, both its individuals and the group itself, should control government as they believe benefits the country, irrespective of what is written in the Constitution.
An honest answer would be B.
