A heartless kitty killer hissed angrily at animal rights activists Wednesday, grinning widely as she took credit for stuffing the helpless pet into a 500-degree oven.
"It's dead, bitch!" snapped an unrepentant Cheyenne Cherry, sticking her tongue out after a plea bargain that will put her behind bars for a year in the May 6 killing of tiny Tiger Lily.

Well, good for you. You finally got my point.
I would think that the cruelty charge, brought by the Humane Society, would be separate from any other charges. They would have no interest in a break-in or damage.
From my first post (90): Human beings are the most powerful animals on the planet.
From my second post (93): Man has produced the nuclear power plant and the nuclear bomb. Man has saved millions by curing diseases and efficiently killed milliouns of his kind. No animal has come close.
My whole point from the git-go was mans intellect.
Most folks don’t understand that it isn’t the fact she inhumanely tortured a defenseless animal, but that she took pleasure in doing it.
She’s a lesbian too? Where did you get that information from?
Not that it really matters, she is one sick young girl, and I’d hate for her to be anywhere near me and mine. Lord knows who or what turned her into what she has become.
The info was in a NY Post article yesterday. The woman that owned the cat rejected the girls advances.
I GOT IT, I GOT IT. Now, when are you going to get it that I was pulling your leg???
>>I GOT IT, I GOT IT. Now, when are you going to get it that I was pulling your leg???<<
Is this the ol’ “I was only joking” ploy?
;:
Man, that is one screwed up smiley face. :]
NO. I can't jelp it if you have no sense of humor, And, I resent the implication that I lied about it. So just forget the whole damned thing.
sheeeeesh!
No. I am sorry! Seriously! If you really WERE joking, I take back what I said. Communication is only 20% verbal. And the verbal is all we get here, so I may have missed a lot. I was honestly being tongue in cheek when I made my comment anyway!
I really enjoy these animal rights threads. It is one of the few times I get to disagree with other Freepers. I cherish it. And I am NOT being sarcastic when I say that.
And I agree with those who said that serial killers often start out that way, torturing animals and such.
“I killed a litter of kittens a few decades ago just before the family hopped in the car for our two week vacation to Disneyland. I put em in a sack and smacked it a few times with a bat and then made sure they were all dead, then threw the sack in the garbage - the same place I put chicken bones and left over ribs.”
You really showed THOSE kittens who was boss. I’ll bet that was a fun ride to Disneyland... telling the family all about how you killed those kittens. “Tell it again, Daddy!”
Sick and cowardly - that’s what you were by dealing with the kittens in such a lazy, cruel manner. And this is coming from someone who really dislike cats, too.
She has no remorse, and is given a poor sentence. The criminal mischief charge is very weak. I hate plea agreements in some cases. This is one of them. I wonder what the original charge was.
I’m so glad someone said that.
amen
I agree that animals have no soul, yet people and some animals come to have bonding relationships, at least as far as one can love his dog, cat, horse, whatever. I think that God put us here to rule over his domain, and that includes both caring for, and harvesting from, the animal kingdom.
What you did was not for entertainment, like dragging animals behind trucks, as I have heard sick tales of. But it was not harvesting either. It was a practical solution to a problem as you say, and the outcome, minus suffering, is the same. Dead kittens.
Given the circumstance you described, I am not sure I would have come up with the same solution. If my daughter ever found out her father beat kittens to death, I am not sure I would want her to label me with that. Put a suffering old dog or lame horse out of its misery with a clean head shot, ok. But not a kitten beater.
None of my business, but I hope you did not let your kids know the truth of what happened.
Exactly! Her plea bargain hurt society. I wonder why they plea bargained. Sometimes they do it because there are weird circumstances between the perp and victim... For example, the owner of the property doesn’t want something from their or her own past publicized.I can’t imagine what would compell the prosecutor to do this!!!
This isn’t the last we’ve heard of this sociopath.
Ill bet that was a fun ride to Disneyland... telling the family all about how you killed those kittens. Tell it again, Daddy!
Why would I do that? Does the meat packer tell everyone how he makes the sausage? It would decrease sales. Sometimes people do not like to think about how the world REALLY works and just enjoy their steaks at safeway that must just grow on a plant with pretty meat colored flowers. Meanwhile someone else has to actually do the dirty work so they can eat.
Sick and cowardly - thats what you were by dealing with the kittens in such a lazy, cruel manner. And this is coming from someone who really dislike cats, too.
"Cowardly" is a great euphemism/insult. How does it apply here? Lazy? Sure. I only have so much time in the day. Some things take priority and others get the short shrift. This was simple and quick - for me and them. It was not cruel, however. Cruel would have been just beating them badly and leaving them in the garbage to slowly rot alive. Most of the meat you eat suffers far more in death than those kittens did.
A lot of people here need a "reality" check.
People on this thread use the words "sick" and "cowardly" a lot. I don't think that word means what you think it means...
