The catcher was sitting on home plate and Obama still bounced the ball in front of him.Is it possible for the media to shove their heads even further up Obamas ass than they already have?

The “Wicked Sinker” is going to be the economy after he has his way with it.

Throwing a sinker and being too limp-wristed to get a ball 90 feet to plate in the strike zone are too different thing.s

Throwing a sinker and being too limp-wristed to get a ball 90 feet to plate in the strike zone are too different thing.s It's 90 feet between bases. It's 60 feet 6 inches from the pitching rubber to the plate.
To: domenad
The plate is 60’ 6” from the rubber.

I think Mitchell had his tongue in cheek; and the distance is 60feet 6 inches...what are you, a soccerboy?

Sinker? I think that was one of the weakest floaters I’ve ever seen.

Barack throws a wicked sinker like Michelle is a fashion icon.
The spin is beyond surreal at this point.

Actually, it is only 60’6” to home plate, so Obama is even weaker than you think.
I do have to give credit for some creative spin, though, “Wicked sinker” is pretty good. Are we sure he wasn’t be sarcastic?
To: chessplayer
It was a wicked stinker not sinker. These people are just flat out sickening.

Not to mention Obama's little "fist pump" at the end. It was pathetic.
I have heard a lot of comments on the staging of the event and must admit, it was clever. Having Obama wear a Cubs jacket to explain the booing, having him shake hands with Musial and throwing to the most popular player to increase the cheers.... it was very well thought out. His throw was pretty bad, though. A "wicked sinker"? I didn't know that was what you called when the pitch turned into a ground ball! It was a sinker all right... sank right into the dirt in front of the plate on a remarkably direct trajectory.
