Two Israeli missile class warships have sailed through the Suez Canal ten days after a submarine capable of launching a nuclear missile strike, in preparation for a possible attack on Irans nuclear facilities.
The deployment into the Red Sea, confirmed by Israeli officials, was a clear signal that Israel was able to put its strike force within range of Iran at short notice. It came before long-range exercises by the Israeli air force in America later this month and the test of a missile defence shield at a US missile range in the Pacific Ocean.

Yeah, I’m confuzzed. Hasn’t President Kumbaya gotten this settled with both sides all happy and oozing brotherly love for their former foes?
I'll have to remember to fill up the cars, trucks, and tractor...
Keep in mind the tit-for-tat on this might be an effort by Iran to shutdown the Strait of Hormuz.
You have smell.

It's not good.
You can’t have a NWO with rouge nations like Iran, NK, etc.
Expect regime changes in the near future.
As far as I know Israel hasn't threatened to exterminate anyone. Iran's leadership has.
I realize that Israel didnt get them on their own (your money)...
Not your money also? Not one of us?
The arabic states over there are waking up to the realization that Iran not only wants Israel destroyed, but they also want to expand their territory and take over more oil fields as a proxy for Russia. They also know that Israel is the only country over there with any chance of damaging Iran in a way that removes them from being a threat to anyone.
I call BS! Israel loves the limelight of being a pathetic victim to much
to kick the bully in the nuts. That's the way it's been for the last 60-years,
and that's the way it will stay. Maybe Israel will drop water balloon bombs. /sheesh
The climatic window seems pretty small. It’s unclear how these folks are making that determination. Israel isn’t known for leaking information unless it’s part of a grander design.
Thanks for the link. The author’s name sounds familiar. Maybe he’s written for another of these think tanks.
What? Another one?

You are right. Israel will be fighting for survival. I am afraid once it starts, Israeli civilian casualties will be high.
Israel doesn’t believe it has a religious obligation to annihilate any other country. Iran does.
Ask a simple question, get a simple answer.
Well them Shiites must be some wonderful fellas then, eh??? And these are the same people that send children into mine fields to locate mines (by blowing themselves up)??? These are the same gentlemanly Shiites who murder unarmed protesters in the streets??? And the same Shiites who want to murder every Jewish man, woman and child??? The same Shiites who need to get a massive war going to usher in their 'Messiah', the 12th Imam???
These people are a cancer on the world...With a little luck, Israel is about to give them a radiation treatment...
This is so thoroughly moronic, it doesn't merit an answer. In your idiotic scenario, the United States is the equivalent of Iran. To make such a comparison is incontrovertible evidence that you don't have the slightest clue what the hell you're babbling about.
Awesome prayer....repeated...Amen!
Ohhhh...China...I thought you were refering to Obama.
Actually, leading a mixed team of Australians, Israelis, and Germans was an interesting challenge.
One comparable to herding cats.
> Can you explain why Israel can have nukes and Iran cant?
Can’t believe you need an explanation, but let’s try.
* Iran’s desire for nukes is for offensive capability.
* Israel’s nukes are defensive only, else Iran would have been a glass parking lot a long time ago.
* Extermination of Israel is a major feature of Iranian foreign policy.
* Inciting a world-wide conflagration to usher in the Mahdi is another major feature of Iranian foreign policy.
They must wipe this menace off the face of the map. If it includes using nuclear weapons so be it.
Anyone who's been involved in placing such capabilities in the hands of those who may have to use it shares exactly the same degree of responsibility as those who press the button. My view is that I will not allow either a Shoah or a Masada to happen again. Not if I can help it.
But I really, really hope it doesn't come to that. It's very easy for those who are armchair strategists to talk blithely about nuclear warfare, but to those of us who are actually involved, well, we are a bit less blase about it. I wouldn't want anyone to be involved who didn't have qualms of conscience, who didn't have nightmares sometimes - and who hadn't in all sobriety decided that having this capability was necessary regardless.
Yes, I hope it's not used. I hope it doesn't have to be. But as you said, if it does, it does. Let's try everything else first though, Ok?
