Lou is a clueless silver spooner. I can’t believe he is just now learning about this. Probably doesn’t even care, just an “issue” for marketing and ratings.
Lets recruit Mr. PUTIN to run as the Presidential candidate for the Conservatives (Republicans) in 2012! He believes in Capitalism now much more than the RATS, and will implement PRO-Life Measures beyond anyones imagination and save millions of American Innocent Citizens!
Lets see what the FEC says about checking out his qualifications? like Congress climbed all over President Bush’s backround and that of John McCain and he was born on a Military Base to one of Our Highest Military Leaders!!

While I agree with you, the sad fact is that there were numerous lawsuits about Obama's natural born citizenship status in 2008, but all the Courts said that no one involved had standing to bring these cases.
The Courts made a mockery of the Constitution.
The Constitution is no substitute for legislation.
And, when we don't have proper legislation, we end up with:
LITIGATION!

Yes, but all actions of the legislative and executive branches are subject to judicial review. The congress cannot accept the electoral votes for an unqualified candidate, i.e. President and VP being from the same state etc.,
Up until the point of the electoral vote certification in Congress, the matter was one of political process, only after certification could the courts intervene.

At some point in time prior to the election, Gov Lingle of HI put the long form BC in a safe in HI. I assume that very few if anyone other than herself can access it. She is a Rep albeit a weak one. But I assume that she knew the proverbial day would come which is fast approaching. I wish I could find a link to show this but I do remember reading it in Aug/Sept 2008.

I am of the opinion that “Natural Born Citizen” is the Opposite of “Naturalized Citizen” -— I am of the opinion that “Natural Born Citizen” means that you must have been a full US Citizen at the very moment of Birth.
Yes, some legislation or a Court Ruling, in the matter, would help.
