...the openly expressed, child-like theory that if we get rid of our nukes our enemies will get rid of theirs.

...the openly expressed, child-like theory that if we tax the wealthy to death, they'll just sit there and take it. ...the openly expressed, child-like theory that if we borrow trillions of dollars from foreign enemies, they won't hold it over our heads like a sword. ...the openly expressed, child-like theory that if we give every person, legal or not, "free" healthcare, it will cost nothing. ...the openly expressed, child-like theory that if we take over all manufacturing in this country, everybody will have a job. ...the openly expressed, child-like theory that if we take over the financial industry in this country, everybody can borrow money to buy a house. Do I detect a pattern here?.......

“Repealing the Industrial Revolution,” and I do not think this is hyperbole, will bring actual Famine to America. The accelerating diversion of cropland to fuel production won’t help, either. The population is much too large to survive in the economic America envisioned and being enacted by Hussein and the Left. Adding Hussein-o-Care (esp. the end of effective antibiotics in a generation or two) into the mix should produce a less healthy population of less than 50 million people by the end of the century- or maybe a lot sooner.

I agree, and in fact we even need them to join “the tea party movement”. to Encourage African Americans in the inner city (which are fed up with those policies) to start their own Common sense tea party rallies!!

I think it’s correct to say a great deal of anxiety over elections now is justified. We have a devoted Marxist ideologue as President, and his underlings in his administration share the same philosophy. Given what we’ve seen in history regarding how Marxists behave, one thing we know for sure: they don’t go quietly away. In fact, short of a brutal uprising or total structural collapse (which would take decades to happen), they don’t go away at all. The mere fact Obama defends the actions of this president in Honduras tells us what he wants for himself here. He wants to rule this country for he rest of his life.

I don’t know much about how a polling place actually operates. But I do know that that any sort of philandering need only take place in a few strategic areas. They’ll play percentages. In this way it’d be simple for them to keep insuring they can stay right where they are without openly dismantling the election system outright overnight, which would cause massive uprisings. They’ll just insure that no Conservative votes will matter, no matter how galvanized we are. Over a few years of pointless galvanizing due to their cheating carrying the day they systematically break down resistance to fight them. THIS technique, breaking the will of the opposition, is straight out of the Totalitarian handbook. Cheating selectively gives them a plausibility to hide behind that notion “the will of the voter” has been justly served. That’s why I kinda think we’re up against it. The “Fix” could already be in.

They mean to stay right where they are. They ALSO know 2010 could upend them. And I think they’re either already pulling out all the stops, or they already know what they have to do to succeed and it’s beyond the point of trying to fight it. The current group knows we’re strongly opposing them more and more every day - so they’re gearing up too. If they can pull 2010 out for themselves, it reduces us to even more helplessness. I just can’t help but think that the Marxists of the world have been planning for this current administration for decades - and they finally made it. Tough for me to think they’re going to risk losing it all so quickly because of a ballot box. That’s the really scary part.

In 2010, Republicans will gain seats, only if they campaign together, similarly to the contract with America. They should promise that, if Republicans regain control of both houses of Congress, they’ll pass about five bills, including cutting tax rates to the 1988 rates, repealing all laws that violate the 10th Amendment, and immigration reform that would triple the fines for employers who hire illegal aliens. The money, from those fines, would be used to build a brick wall, along the Mexican border.

The Earthquake is when ACORN counts the votes and the New Black Panthers provides incentive at the polling places

PREDICTION:

The near Trillion dollar stimulus was always timed to flow before the mid term elections.

The spending will result in a fasle uptick in the economy allowing obama and the totalitarian left to easliy win and win big.

Look for an even larger democrat majority in 2010 and another stimulus aka vote buying scheme to time for the 2012 elections

Voting fraud plus the fact that RINO’s running the Republican Party will be funding their RINO buddies and stiffing conservative candidates.

Does anyone know what ever became of Bob Dornan? He should run again, and DuncanL. Hunter should run for the Senate, or in coordination with Sarah Palin in 2010

Oh, for the days of Everett Dirksen!

Yes, we need to be united more than ever obviously in order to defeat Obamuism.

We have built winning coalitions before and we could do it again. 1980 and 1994 come to mind.

We MUST do it. It is do our die. Do we want to live in a limited government republic or continue on living in a one party socialist monstrosity?

Edmund Burke was right when he said all that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.

I couldn't agree more. It scares the daylights out of me when I think just how far we've fallen in so short a time.

God help us all.

PRIMARIES ARE KEY ELECTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ONLY ABOUT 10% VOTE IN PRIMARIES

IN ONE LOCAL DISTRICT NEAR ME ONLY 22 PEOPLE VOTED LAST PRIMARY. SO I COULD HAVE ACTUALLY BEEN A CANDIDATE IF I JUST CALLED ALL MY FRIENDS TO COME VOTE

I didn't want McCain, but after he won the primary, well, so be it, I had to support him.

Wife and I called our local offices several times here in chicagoland to get McCain yard stuff. None were available, we were told to go online to get them.

The only ones they had available were tiny, and expensive, and just had McCain, not Palin on the placard.

Every other yard had Obama placards. But we couldn't get a single McCain one, unless we were going to buy them.

Same thing when Thompson was in the primary, we had to pay for the placards, I think we gave 200 bucks, and got like 6 of them (which were stolen the night we put them up).

Sorry, I can't afford to buy placards here in Chicago when they are being stolen all the time.

The local offices should have been calling folks begging them to put them up for free, not the other way around.

If the fines are high enough, we won't need a wall...................

The Democrats will simply divide and conquer us like a steamroller.

As conservatives we need to bid our time in the Republican Party and wait for the Democrats to split first into the hard left and moderate left factions. Then the Republican Party could safety split into the moderately conservative and conservative factions without being politically irrelevant for decades. If the two parties split into these four factions, I think the conservatives would win more often than not.

Good idea, let them split first. They are already splitting.

Same. I think Palin has a great chance 2016 though
After 8 years of uncontrolled Democrat rule, there be no doubt in ppl’s mind who ruined the economy by then. If it was 2012, I think people will still give DEM a chance
