Next year's elections are going to produce a political earthquake. That is because we currently suffer the most left-wing government in our nation's history. After just 6 months in office, the flower children that rule Washington in overwhelming numbers are already smashing through all records regarding federal taxes, spending, deficits, and debt. Obama and his ultra-left Democrats adopted a so-called stimulus bill raising spending a trillion dollars that never had a prayer of actually creating jobs and promoting long-term economic growth, because it was based entirely on old-fashioned, brain dead, proven to fail, Keynesian economics. Though we would have to double federal taxes to finance the entitlement promises we have already made, the ruling Washington Democrats completely ignore that and focus instead on adopting yet another entitlement -- national health insurance -- that would be the biggest of all.
Global atmospheric temperatures are down over the last 11 years, and temperature trends during the 20th century were consistent with natural causes such as varying ocean current temperatures and solar activity, and not with the theory of manmade global warming and carbon dioxide emissions. Yet the left wing extremists that run Washington insist on adopting the largest tax increase in world history to reduce the use of oil, natural gas, and coal by 83%, which would effectively repeal the Industrial Revolution. Mandating high cost energy is only going to trash the economy for no good reason.
Meanwhile, Obama is explicitly pursuing nuclear disarmament with the full support of Congressional Democrats on the openly expressed, child-like theory that if we get rid of our nukes our enemies will get rid of theirs.

Like old Joseph Stalin said, “It’s not about who votes. It’s about who counts the votes.”
That’s why Obama is quickly trying to load the hammock full before 2010. A large enough dependency class will stifle any attempts at reform, as we are seeing in California currently
Sort of my sentiment. I would surely love to see another Reagan type follow in the wake of this Carter type we currently have.
But, I fear, that the establishment of RINO’s will see this as not an opportunity to run a true conservative, but instead will grasp this opportunity to run an even more liberal RINO. Of course, we will lose again because of this. I’m guessing Cheney’s daughter, Romney, or McCains daughter or something of the like will be hoisted up and presented to us by the mainstream media as the “only viable candidate”.
Michael Steele will find someone who is just barely to the right of Obama to run, they will shun Palin, she will probably create a 3rd party, and it will be Ross Perot all over again with the Obama taking a 2nd term, or us ending up with someone who “embraces wise latin nations” and opens our borders even more. sigh
LOL
Boy did they start something my miss-naming Jim Rob! LOL
From his lips to God’s ears.
That being said, DON’T GIVE UP! Fight it! Its WORTH fighting for!
Yes, and using social media! This is what candidate Obama did so well during the campaign. I went to the McCain-Palin rally here in my community. In order to get my tickets, I had to contact my local GOP campaign headquarters via email and then was told to pick up my tix at the headquarters. They had my email, my physical address, and yet I was never contacted again other than standard GOP political literature stuffed in my mailbox.
OTOH, I visited the Obama campaign website just once to see what the opposition was up to. In order to access anything, I had to give them email address. Boy, after that I was receiving emails daily re: appearances, political positions, what I could do to help, organize and otherwise advance the campaign. I still receive occasional emails encouraging me to call my senator whenever Zero needs some backup ...
Facebook, now Twitter...If we want to ever win again, we better get on the stick regarding new networking technologies. If you occasionally post a pertinent, non-inflammatory newspaper critique of Obama or the demwits on your Facebook page, it at least gets your circle of friends/family/co-workers, etc. thinking...
As always, JMHO
Missy
Would, Could, Maybe . . . .
If the 'Pubbies don't start getting their act together NOW and start preparing candidates for the mid-terms NOW, 2010 is going to be another a$$kicking by the Dems.
Who is (Jim Thompson)?
“2010 (Next year’s elections could be a political earthquake”
No, that was last time... as a result of the MSM media-coup
Conyers just came out for Pat Toomey. The RINO’s last hope, State Senator Jane Orie, turned them down flat yesterday.
Love it!
Its gotta be a rollback. All of it; flushed down the crap hole.
If Republicans overcome ACORN/DoJ vote management,it will be, indeed, a political earthquake.
Nope, there will be no election in 2010. Even at the odd chance there is an election, the media has the stoopid American people watching as Michael ‘drink your Jesus juice Bobby’ Jackson’s introduction to the fires of Hell.
Once the IR collapses, count on subsistance living again (which isn’t bad as long as we can all have a little hard work/access to food.
The problem is the Federal Government will try to regulate this, so they’ll need lots of “police” to controll farms which produce more than their allotted amount.
In oreder to stop this we need to drive the liberals to attack the security agencies FBI, FEMA, DHS, etc..because of their fear of “Militarism”. That way these agencies will be effectively bankrupt, and overworked=less government, in which case we can rebuild locally, and through states.
Just My 2, I.M.O.
As opposed to staying whole & kick'n our ass?
Of course, had Mr. Jackson 's soul had an attached 'soulcam' I bet people would learn a great deal!
I have been having the same thoughts lately, DM.
They MUST be willing to fight. Screw the collegial BS among political creatures - they need to speak up loudly, confidently, and inspire us with an attitude of fixing what has been so badly broken.
