The British Embassy in Tel Aviv confirmed Monday that the United Kingdom has revoked a number of arms export licenses to Israel following the Gaza war, but insisted that the move did not constitute a partial embargo.
"There is no partial U.K. arms embargo on Israel," the embassy said in a statement to Haaretz. "U.K. policy remains to assess all export licenses to Israel against the consolidated EU and national arms export licensing criteria

The leaders of the UK are absolutely pathetic. You would think that with their problems with Islam that they would understand what Israel has to go through.
Perhaps this represents both their problems internally with Moslems and certain bias' they've held as well.

Agreed, yet most Americans have no idea what is even going on over there.
Any spares needed that the UK will not sell Israeli will duplicate in country and be done with it. Purchase agreements probably already allow for that.

The usual suspects, of course, but they have been denying Israel’s right to defend itself since 1948 and not just since Operation Cast Lead.
Oh I think that there is a strong number that feels that way in the UK. It is just that the shrill voices of those that don't are persistant and dangerous.

And the White Paper wasn't a betrayal of England's obligation to settle Jews in Palestine. It was just easier after Hitler than before. Not as many to settle.
