Sen. Jeff Sessions of Alabama made the assertion just hours before Sotomayor, who would be the third woman to join the court, was to face her initial confirmation hearing.

Imagine if she had to be grilled by Chuck Schumer (remember that lonnnnnnnnng question that lasted about five minutes?) or Sen. Levin peering down at her with his perched spectacles on his nose?

I saw it. She looked like she thought in the beginning “oh here we go, let’s get these little senators out the way”
Looks like her tune changed as Senator Sessions made point after point. Maybe this is more serious and not a love you fest than you think Judge Sotomayor.

Look at her now. Those remarks by Sessions hit home. I wonder if she has ever really heard the truth?

She has no clue about the other half (maybe more) of the country and disapproval must be quite uncomfortable for her. This may be true, or she may actually be a very activist judge and she is afraid that her past may catch up with her and foil the chance to change the SCOTUS. It's hard to tell.

Always praised never a negative analysis. That about sums it up.
This current Kohl-fish is an immense and pointless waste of time and breath.

Like so many liberal, they don’t see the overall picture their individual actions produce.
Being none prejudice against one group, may produce an act that is indeed prejudice against another.
Her personal views created their own prejudice: she’s a racist.

Minnesota's Al Franken, has already tipped his hand that he plans to ask her about campaign finance laws, expected to come before the court this session.Did he appear in character as Stuart Smalley, or did he use his own voice?
