Letter: Looking forward to voting for Palin
The Potomac News ^ | July 12, 2009 | Robert Dixon, Jr.

Posted on 07/12/2009 6:41:02 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Your editorial, “Away with GOP divas, princes, talking heads,” reminded me why I like Sarah Palin. At the mention of her name, so-called grown men and women wet their pants and begin shaking with fear.

The effect the lady from Wasilla has on otherwise rational people is astounding, and a real hoot to watch. Mrs. Palin made her decision to resign without the advice of focus groups, polls, Washington pundits or Political “operatives,” and she gave her speech without the aid of a teleprompter.

It’s easy to see how she frightens some folks. You say whatever detriment caused is entirely of her own making; I suppose if only she’d been smart enough to marry a millionaire or perhaps invest in cattle futures, $500,000 in legal bills wouldn’t be a big deal. Sarah Palin voluntarily gave up power because it was best for her family and her state, not an act normally associated with egomania. People like her because she’s real, she speaks honestly and from the heart. I don’t know what the future holds for Mrs. Palin, but I’ll bet her critics will see the day when they’ll wish she was governor of Alaska. I look forward to voting for her again.

So far we have no one on the conservative side who has stepped forward to claim leadership. We got some has been’s who will be eated up, we got some rino’s that are posing, but we got no genuine conservative leader.
I applaud the idea of her getting out and doing public appearances and campaign support. I’m sure she will draw crowds and those that are willing to stand with her on the podium will get more conservative votes.

I look forward to voting for her again.

I look even more forward to seeing her figuratively shoot and field dress the political royal class which infests Washington.

I ordered a bumper sticker version of that, 2 days ago.

They will go on, near our “who is John Galt” stickers.

It hit me this morning walking the dog.....something everyone had missed, the pondits, TV clowns, writers, et al: America Wants Sarah to be President. Period.

We don’t care what her background is, what her experiecne is, where she’s from what she wears, who backs her, etc. We want her to be our President and that’s all that matters....

I mean, look what we have now: Barney Frank, Al Franken, the Bomb....where is the criteria there? HOW could she be any worse than them......She is more honest than any of these clowns, has more administrative experience than the Bomb, has more proven moral intigrity that any 20 congress critters or Senators already demonstrated by her actions to date.....

She has tougher skin than any other elected offical and they have NEVER had to go through what she has had to go through, and she isn’t even President yet....

Quitter????? You mean by not milking one job to run for another, (Biden, Bomba, Hilterly, etc, etc, etc) she is a quitter.....don’t make me laugh....

And if she stayed up nights and worked around the clock she couldn’t be worse than those mentioned above, not even if she tried.....

So I say to the Andrea Mitchell Greenspans and the other hosts of fraud, and especially our good friends at the View, (worthless creitians whose opinion is worth less than toilet paper, which after all does serve a purpose) take a trip, get out, we don’t care what you think or say:

America has decided to give Sarah a chance to see what she can do, and that’s all you other clowns need to know.

I think Sarah will remain a Republican but I think she will mobilize 3rd party-goers, independents and conservative Dems more than any candidate since Ronald Reagan. I think she has the potential to effectively neutralize both the GOP & Dem Establishment simultaneously......and YES, I am voting for her!

She has my vote in half a heartbeat and that of many other true conservatives I know. That sewer in Washington sure could stand a good cleaning, it stinks to high heaven.

Ok - while I know ACORN and all of Obama’s lackies are working 24/7 to steal the next election, I am so looking forward to voting for Sarah.
