I would urge the FReeper community to aovid using off-color language if only to separate our posts from the endless stream of epithets coming from the Left.
IMHO, the Left would be severely handicapped (more than they already are) if they were restricted from using any foul language.
Does anyone remember that troll named Koyann, aka Steve, aka K. from last year? The one that would always go postal over everything I wrote?
Besides getting repeatedly booted from FR, he up and quit two or three forums just because they would not allow him to use his foul mouth.
He is the poster child for the Left’s language.
We do need to watch our language and not to be tawdry in our jokes. Children should be off limits. Some FReepers do indeed start getting racist on on some threads, and the rest of us need to hit ABUSE every time.
It’s not because we look bad to liberals with this idiocy. It’s because most CONSERVATIVES find racism utterly disgusting and won’t want any part of this place.

My mama always taught me that foul language was used by people with limited intelligence and restricted vocabulary as a replacement for coherent thought.
The “intellectual elite” use profanity because if the truth be known, most of them have little to no cognitative ability or original ideas of their own and simply parrot other peoples’ thoughts, often without knowing what they mean.
Note how many of them try incessantly to replace the language for the most lazy, stupid, and ignorant among us. They don’t want anyone to know how meaningless they are...just so they SOUND meaningful.
Take obama, PLEASE!
