Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has always been an intensely independent woman. So it should come as no surprise that her decision to resign as governor befuddled many, especially political elites.
The chattering class stands ready to write off her political future, spouting their usual insults, calling Palin a quitter, politically tone-deaf and Caribou Barbie. The reality is, each of these characterizations misses the mark. If they truly reflected any political figure, one would expect his or her career to fizzle in a matter of days.
To the contrary, Palin deflects the baseless nastiness with poise and experiences a massive surge of support. Her charisma inspires a base that is committed and highly engaged. The strongest evidence of her populist power is found online.
Since her announcement, Palin has gained over 30,000 friends on Facebook and thousands of followers on Twitter. These measurements are just a snapshot of her potential as a revolutionary political force online. Palin could very well hold the key to reaching conservative activists in the same way that Barack Obama connected with liberal activists through my.BarackObama.comduring the presidential campaign.
Palins values of faith, family, and service resonate with everyday Americans in ways few on the Right can match. She offers a charismatic model of feminine leadership one that champions traditional values with style and moxie. Months after the 2008 election, her success and ability to influence national politics has endured.

I am an adamant Palin supporter and I do think it is useful observe how Palin and Obama are two sides of the same coin. There ideologies are opposite but the general outsider inference is an important reason why they are popular.
Conservatives have a two to one higher potential in the public to capitalize on this sensation— but for the misleading media.
The pretending that she is too inexperienced and/or a quitter is of course a double standard.
Obama was fortunate to be able to quit the Senate without quitting. Voting Present more than 100 times in his brief “work” as Senator, his refusal to answer simple political questions put to him in his “job” was viewed by the adoring media as simply more outsider politics that made him so much superior to that big Meany Insider Senator Hillary Clinton.
That reminds me... I got to go be her friend too
Wow, my favorite Palin pic ever.
On the money. 0bama is a poser, who if he were conservative, the MSM would have totally destroyed him within weeks. The fact that they haven’t been able to do it to Palin tells you something.
The photographer is obviously a time-traveller.
This photo was taken on January 20, 2013, shortly after President Palin’s inauguration. In this photo, she is greeting White House staffer’s just hours after taking the oath of office. The gritty look on President Palin’s face is her determination to immediately start correcting the countless mistakes made by the previous president, the disgraced Barrack Obama.
Agreed.
Let’s make it happen.
I hate Facebook.
I think it’s fun:)
