'Yep, she’s trying to peel off the so-called Blue Dogs. Canny move-—it’s not about Republicans and Democrats, it’s about Conservative values. I wonder how Pelosi and Reid will react?"

Ridiculous. First, there's no such thing as a conservative democrat, period. Second, those so-called, blue dog democrats happily vote for Nancy Pelosi, Stoyer and Reid in leadership positions as well as the likes of Rangel, Waxman et. al. into their committee chairmanships.

And, what does Pelosi and her band of Merry Men do? They freeze out Republicans, you know, the ones who actually vote for conservative principles and values. Palin's going to need a new slogan - Sarah Palin, David Axelrod's Secret Weapon.

You sound like a hard core GOP groin leech. Since you’re new I suggest you go take a gander at the FR homepage and find where it says that FR is a republican site.

That's not true. My dad is a Conservative Democrat of the Truman mold.

Your points are correct.

If Sarah campaigns for a Democrat who voted for Pelosi, Stoyer or Reid for leadership as well as the likes of Rangel, Waxman et. al. for committee chairs, then she would be making a serious mistake.

Hopefully she won't since such votes for leadership positions and committee chairs goes against her shared values of "limited government, strong defense and energy independence."

“First, there’s no such thing as a conservative democrat, period.”

BullBarack! My parents are gun-owning, bible believing, pro-life DEMOCRATS. Trust me, I’ve tried to tell them how little sense it makes for them to keep voting DEM, but they are also union members, so it’s like spittin’ in the wind.

THANK YOU!!! Good grief, I can't believe my eyes.

This tells me Palin is trying to find new revenue streams and it's more about Palin than the cause.

I liked her. I was anxious to see her and hear her but if she doesn't care if she's working to keep Pelosi and Reid in their positions, I don't care about her. This is destructive.

In fact, the conservative democrats could easily be convinced to turn agains Obama (Obama himself is doing it now) and Palin has vast potential to win their support.

It’s more like Sarah Palin, David Axelrod’s worst nightmare.
But that’s where we differ, so let’s just sit back and observe the intensity of leftist attacks against her. These attacks are a direct measure of the threat she poses to Axelrod or Soros.

All Palin did was ask Democrats to join her. She’s not going to change for them. If they don’t join her, that’s their loss, not hers.

You won’t last long here with those views. - Thia is a conservative site, not a Republican site.

Don’t know the difference? - No surprise!

First, there's no such thing as a conservative democrat, period. Down in Dixie, we're full of them.

Over half the Democrat delegation in the GA House and GA Senate are more fiscally and socially conservative than most Republican in the OH House and the OH Senate.
