My dad was also a “Truman” Conservative Democrat but like Zell Miller said, my party LEFT me I didn't leave the party and later in life became a Republican. (the capital “LEFT” was on purpose)

This may be but someone needs to point out to him that that Democrat party is GONE. My grandfather was a Democrat, too, but he was a highly moral man I do not believe if he were alive now, he would vote Democrat.
