First, there's no such thing as a conservative democrat, period. That's not true. My dad is a Conservative Democrat of the Truman mold.

My dad was also a “Truman” Conservative Democrat but like Zell Miller said, my party LEFT me I didn't leave the party and later in life became a Republican. (the capital “LEFT” was on purpose)

My dad is a Conservative Democrat of the Truman mold. This may be but someone needs to point out to him that that Democrat party is GONE. My grandfather was a Democrat, too, but he was a highly moral man I do not believe if he were alive now, he would vote Democrat.

LOL. Was he conservative when he pushed for national health care and federal housing projects, expanded Social Security, took control of steel mills, and vetoed Taft-Hartley?
