If he’s going by what people call themselves, beware of his conclusions.

"The term Palinphile. Is that derived from pedophile? If so that's pretty low. "

Good grief. You see a conspiracy around every corner. And, these are driven by Mitbots or Pawlenty Lovers, no doubt?

The suffix attached to Palin to get Palinphile is "phile". Phile comes from a Greek etymology that means "to love". Some other words would include audiophile or bibliophile.

I WAS a Palin fan—no more. Palin must not understand how important it is for Republicans to gain a majority. She can get lost as far as I’m concerned.

How would supporting liberal Republicans, who may very well vote for Obama's agenda, be more desirable than supporting a conservative Democrat who may not?

They seem to forget that their guy Myth had unlimited resources, spent tens of millions of dollars (most of it his own money) and came in THIRD behind a RINO and a guy with almost no money.

What evidence have you seen that a Conservative Blue-Dog Democrat actually exists these days? Obama’s not having any problem passing the things he wants to. He’s closing Gitmo. He got his stimulus through. I got his global warming bill through the House. He’s cutting military procurement. He’s dissing Israel and kissing Iran’s posterior. He’s giving away Europe’s intended missile defense, and I could go on.

Have you seen any Democrats object to this? Has there been a gang of something rise up to oppose him from the Democrat ranks?

More power to Palin, but I sure don’t see a body of people within the ranks of the Democrats, to cause her to go this route.

Please explain to me how working to keep Democrats in the majority and Pelosi and Reid in their positions is a good tactic. I must be stupid because I don’t see it.

Duh... for the last time... have you READ the article?

It's not her tactic to have dems elected... the tactic is exposing self-claimed "conservative" Democrats, by offering them your hand. If they reject her, they admit being liberals and risk losing their support.

BTW do you remember when REAGAN campaigned?

“This will be only the second time in 30 years that the number of pro-life Democrats increases instead of decreases,” the said. “The first time we made gains was in 2006 due to the work of pro-life Democrats all over this country advocating on behalf of the pro-life cause.”

Stop giving these hypocrites any credit. The only reason they're there is because they were recruited by the RATs to run in so-called conservative districts because the RATs knew full well that once elected, they would be totally neutered. It is all a lie and the people were again fooled.

She's reaching out with qualifications (share my views).

McPain and Bush moved to them, Sarah says you move to me. BIG difference.

And this exactly is what Reagan did and it worked perfectly.

True, there are Democrats who are not sickening. Perhaps my thought would be better phrased thus: True, there are Democrat, and they are not sickening. For the most party, on the left, it’s dummycrats voting Dumbcrap.

I’d rather see Palin support a conservative democrat

Not to be picky, but I asked if there was one. I don't think there is, but if you know of one, please name them. I'm not trying to be combative, just don't think even the so called "blue dogs" are anywhere near conservative.

That's one of the reasons I think this was a good move by Sarah, they won't be able to ask her to campaign for them, pretty much exposing themselves to voters who they have fooled.

“The GOP brand is extremely damaged”

Yes, and republican die hards just can’t seem to see it. Either that or they really prefer RINO globalists and refuse to admit it on a ‘conservative’ forum.

Then she should leave the GOP.

That's what maybe all Conservatives should do. We can leave the decrepit wrecked GOP to the RINO-Romney-bots and beltway elitist snobs. Have fun being Whigged!

I know there are many of you out there who get nervous when I come around because I point out that you are a populist masquerading as a conservative.

Nah, you're good fun, Ficklin.

By the way, Reagan oft referred to himself as a populist. Was he too "masquerading as a conservative"?

Counting the ones who run as pro-life and then end up with a 14% rating from the NRTLC?

Leiberman is overrated. He’s as far left as they come except in terms of defense of Israel.
