Sunday will mark one year since the death of Tony Snow from cancer. He battled the disease, which originated in his colon before spreading, for more than three years.
Snow, a longtime commentator and journalist, anchored at Fox News Channel and later worked for a short time at CNN. In between his TV jobs, he served as White House Press Secretary for President George W. Bush.
This Sunday, TVNewser has learned, Fox News Channel will mark the anniversary of Snow's death with numerous mentions of him throughout the day, along with thoughts from Presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush and from FNC colleagues such as Bill O'Reilly and Greta Van Susteren.

We lost a great man with his passing.

We lost a really good man rwi, but in the balance, Heaven gained one.
RIP Tony.
Just one year since he’s been gone? So much has changed since then. I would have loved to hear his perspective on BHO.
He was a great freeper too. Tony Snow is missed.
I wonder if Tony can read his pings in heaven?
One the best, most infectious commentators I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. Miss him terribly. Prayers for his children and other family.
Here's to you, my good man! I hope we all can measure up.
Hope his family is doing OK.
Has it been a year already?
Wow. The world is completely changed in that time. And not for the better.
I miss him - he was always a pleasure to hear.
I miss Tony Snow. I had such a crush on him when he filled in for Rush, way back when. I was so excited to see that his looks matched his voice.
Thank you for the thread.
True, so much has happened in the last year, and I dearly wish we had Tony’s voice and humorous perspective on so many issues. My consolation comes from knowing that he is in heaven, and in whatever way still involved in faith, family and country. Tony had a huge impact on my life, and I thank him for his service to America. A gentleman in every sense of the word. Prayers are being offered for Tony and his family.
Yup, I was just meditating on his loss this past week, not realizing it’d been a year.
You were one of a kind, Tony! And you weren’t here nearly long enough. See you when we see you in heaven.
Thanks for mentioning Tony. Saw both Tony and Rush speak at the same event in Chicago 5-6 years ago. I don’t think I’ll ever forget that. It seems like Tony’s been gone longer than just one year.
Knowing God is smarter than any human - and wiser - and more of everything good - I suspect he can make a heaven that more entertaining and fun than the best “resort” or “theme park” or “all of this world” . Tony’s moved up.
God rest the soul of Tony Snow, he was a very good man.
