After many years of homeschooling, my daughter would like to go to high school this fall. I am very worried about this scenario and my husband and I are going to sit her down and in no uncertain terms let her know that she is NEVER to accept an injection without our express written consent and/or presence. If anyone tries to coerce/pressure her, she is to resist and call us immediately or leave if necessary. I can honestly see them have some sort of ‘assembly’ to tell the students about the dangers of the flu and then lining them up to receive the vaccine- probably as a condition of staying in school. If it comes down to it, we will pull her out and homeschool again. We always told our kids that after 8th grade, they would have the choice to continue homeschooling or go to high school, but now I am having serious doubts if any kind of ‘mass vaccination’ program targeted at school kids is in the works.

Okay, this scares me. Are they to seriously believe that we trust them enough to have all of a sudden come up with a vaccine for Swine Flu? and then to put it in our children to use as guiena pigs. This man has completely lost his ever lovin mind.

Even without the threat of that, government school just isn’t a good idea.

No need to worry. Public schools cannot even give children a tylenol without parental/physician approval. If the vaccinations are offered at schools, each child will have to have parental permission to receive a vaccination. No permission, no shot. The laws have changed radically since I was in school and they routinely came around with those guns that gave vaccinations for every child. In Georgia, schools have to have a physician approved release for a child to get tylenol or even neosporin. My wife is not even allowed to give lotion to a student.

There’s not a chance that she will be vaccinated without your written permission. Now whether or not there is an assembly - well that’s possible - but a shot? Nope.
