Rep. John Fleming (R-LA) explains his bill (House Resolution 615) that says "if you vote for a government-run health care option, you agree to choose government-run health care for you and your family."

Fleming was standing by a sign that read "If Your Member of Congress Votes for Government Run Healthcare, Shouldn't They Also Enroll in the Plan?"

I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT JOHN FLEMING BUT I LOVE THE POINT HE IS MAKING AND I BELIEVE IT SHOULD BECOME THE LAW OF THE LAND.

I BELIEVE THAT ANY RULE OUR CONGRESS VOTES UPON THAT IMPACTS ALL OF US and USES OUR MONEY, SHOULD BE UNDER THE SAME RULE OF LAW.

Cute stunt, but how many of them enroll their children in public schools? How many pubbies voted for Bush's (i.e. Kennedy's) education plan? Did they put their kids in public school? No.

I like that a republican is making some sort of a stand on something, but I am not ready to promote him to sainthood. The ruling class is out of control. When I see leaders refusing to cooperate with the democrat destruction of the country, when I see them out in the street leading protests then I will raise an eyebrow.

Demand that Ted Kennedy get his brain tumor treatment the same way an average citizen would under the Hussein/Kennedy/Pelosi plan.

They would laugh in your face: "Ted Kennedy is the lion of the Senate. He's much too important to not have the best health care...besides, he is a multimillionaire and is able to afford...."

and the argument is over. Liberals lose.

It should be the same with schools, if you vote to keep funding public schools you should be required to send your children to them.

Slap an Amendment on it (to require any member of Congress who supports the Socialized Medicine Bill via an affirmative vote on it to give up their current Plan, and subscribe to the Socilized Medicine Plan). FORCE the Dem’s to vote it down and expose their Holier-than-thou hypocrisy, dictating what THEY think is best for the sheeple....

Don’t these Congresscritters realize that this will effect EVERYBODY? Their friends and associates back home, their relatives and loved ones? They truly are ignorant if they don’t perceive that their mothers and fathers, sons and daughters may die waiting for health care at the hands of the government................
