— General Motors could literally turn green as it readies itself for major management and cultural changes that will coincide with its escape from bankruptcy protection.

People briefed on its plans say the company is looking into changing the background color of its corporate logo from blue to green in an effort to show consumers that it is leaner and greener...

The perverse coupling of big business and big government now extends to the colors of logos.

GM management, you need to break away from the Obamanization of your company.

For me, I won't even consider buying a GM vehicle until they're off the taxpayer's teat.

LOL! Why not just give the customers any color they want as long as its green?

Bye, bye, GM.
Another dead government stiff walking around looking for a hole to fall in.

Yup. They won't survive with the parasitic unions.

Can’t wait, will they make “green” replacement parts that bio degrade while your driving down the highway?

Sales will continue to drop. Nothing they plan on doing will overcome the negatives of the union and the ridiculous “green” ideas. Everyone I know is quite sick of the whole “green” crap. It’s everywhere and makes me want to puke.

I wonder if Rush will continue to advertise for them? Surely not. He needs to go over to Ford. At least they didn’t take any bail out money.

You have it backwards. Will the UAW and Obama allow GM to continue advertising on Rush's show.

I wonder if Rush will continue to advertise for them [GM]? Surely not.

Aside from purely financial reasons I never understood why any conservative would shill for GM, Ford, Chrysler, or any other car company that employs anti-conservative UAW members to build their products.

Every penny that goes into any such company through car sales ends up financing yet another liberal politician's campaign.
