Fox News' Kilmeade: We "marry other species," Finns "pure"
Salon ^ | 7/8/09

Posted on 07/09/2009 4:21:11 AM PDT by steve-b

Watching Fox News' morning show, "Fox and Friends," is a little bit like watching the aftermath of a particularly nasty car crash. Yeah, it's awful, but you just have to keep looking, because, well, who knows what mangled body parts they'll pull from the wreckage next?

Even by those standards, though, host Brian Kilmeade's performance on Wednesday was just terrible.

Kilmeade and two colleagues were discussing a study that, based on research done in Finland and Sweden, showed people who stay married are less likely to suffer from Alzheimer's. Kilmeade questioned the results, though, saying, "We are -- we keep marrying other species and other ethnics and other ..."

At this point, his co-host tried to -- in that jokey morning show way -- tell Kilmeade he needed to shut up, and quick, for his own sake. But he didn't get the message, adding, "See, the problem is the Swedes have pure genes. Because they marry other Swedes .... Finns marry other Finns, so they have a pure society."

That is typical Kilmeade; deadpan delivery, oddball humor. Not for everyone.

Didn’t Salon go bankrupt a long time ago? Their stock price went down to $0.01... or something like that.

Who cares what Salon thinks?

Calling this crowd ‘the three stooges’ is an insult to Larry, Moe and Curly.

Kilmeade has remarkable clarity on Obama, however, so I’m gonna give him a pass. At this point, anyone who squares off against the Nazi/Communist treason machine deserves support. Besides, he’s funny.

"We keep marrying other species and other ethnics and other ..."

Regarding the "other species" remark, I think Kilmeade was referring to Californians. They marry wierd things on the Left Coast.

Actually, if “gay marriage” passes, Kilmeade will be exactly right. Some people will marry their dogs.

Alex Koppelman, I would imagine, is a liberal with no sense of humor and a tin ear for irony.

If you're referring to Kilmeade, I did not see the subject discussed, but in general Brian tries to be humorous. So before everyone comes down on him find out whether he was serious first. I'd review the source before going off on him.

I like Kilmeade and find him refreshingly honest. I happened to catch that segment and my first thought was Brian seemed drunk or on something. He had a slight slur and seemed to be less than totally coherent - definitely not his normal demeanor. I hope he’s OK.

He is still being punished by moonbats for killing Bill Clinton

On September 12 or so Brian was doing man on the street interviews with New Yorkers getting reactions to the 9/11 events

Bill Clinton saw the camera and horned in. With out missing a beat Brian asked Clinton if he was sorry for causing the attacks. Clinton was flabbergasted and aghast. He mumbled some gibberish and left.

This is the only show on Fox that I RARELY watch. 9 times out of 10, I push the button on them as I did this morning. They were discussing “vanity license plates.” Who cares about this fluff stuff? I don’t blame the “actors” ... I blame the producers who have “chickified” this show. My wife thinks the “fluff” is over the top, especially in the morning when whe wants to get some solid grip on what’s going on ... you won’t find out with Fox and Friends.
