Administration Tries To Shade Truth Of Failed Liberal Stimulus Experiment ( Graphs .....)

Instead, knowing full well that the federal spending programs take YEARS to kick into full gear (it’s their congressional red tape policies that legally require the years), they went with an liberal fantasy, and experiment in delusion.

The Democrats decided on a faux stimulus plan. They would yack up how great it was, expecting the recession to be at its peak and turning around normally (many recessions would have by now), but pass a bunch of pork and pet projects. To get the people used to the idea of government intervention and assistance. Paving the way for the take over of health care and taxing energy into oblivion. That was the plan, at least from what we can tell from what the VP said last weekend.

This has now been confirmed by White House led media spin poring out of the DC Political Industrial Complex:

Five months after Congress approved a massive package of spending and tax cuts aimed at reviving an ailing economy, the jobless rate is still climbing and the White House is scrambling to reassure an anxious public that President Obama’s prescription for economic recovery is on the right track.

Senior administration officials acknowledged that the effects of the stimulus package have been overshadowed by an unexpectedly sharp drop-off in employment since the measure passed in February. But they reported that only about $100 billion has so far been spent and that as increasingly large sums flow out of Washington, the program is on pace to save or create 600,000 jobs over the next 100 days.

I want folks to take a close look at that accompanying graph, because it is a mastery of deception and lies.

It was a risky scheme for Democrats. They decided to avoid the tried and true stimulus path of tax cuts (too much like the GOP, their arch enemies - damn what it means to the nation and its people).

Virginia Souring On Obama, Too

********************************EXCERPT********************

Millions Suffering From OFS

Wednesday, July 8th at 12:50PM EDT 13 Comments

Fresh on the heels of yesterday’s poll showing that support for Barack Obama is collapsing in America’s leading political bellwether, today we learn that Virginians are souring on the president as well:

A new Public Policy Polling survey looking at how likely voters for this fall’s election view Barack Obama finds his approval rating at just 48%, with 46% disapproving.

A poll looking at his numbers among an even year general electorate would likely be more favorable because of the greater number of African Americans and young voters that would be represented but PPP is gauging approval ratings in the context of the Gubernatorial race.

Obama’s reviews are highly polarized with 95% of Democrats but only 9% of Republicans giving him good marks. His overall numbers are weak due to poor numbers among independents- 52% of them say they disapprove of Obama’s performance with only 38% giving him favorable ones.

Frankly, even I didn’t expect the Obama spell to wear off this quickly. It’s beginning to seem that no matter where you turn, political independents and ’soft’ Obama supporters are contracting OFS - Obama Fatigue Syndrome. The bad news for Obama is, he can only be new and exciting once.

And by the way - Public Policy Polling is considered a Democrat-leaning firm.

The problem for them is that Cap N Tax, Healthcare scam and Amnestyscam will depress this economy even further than it is now.

They need another curve. besides the curve indicating jobs saved, they need a curve indicating jobs not offered because of the minimum wage increase.

I think the author gives them too much credit. I believe Obama is stupid enough to think government spending will revive the economy.
