The gap toothed Alfred E Newman looking bastard apparently feels that since he still has a job and no sponsors left his show that it is safe to start hitting up on Governor Palin again. Top Ten List From Last Night:
Top Ten Messages On Sarah Palin's Answering Machine Top Ten

6-"It's Letterman -- we still cool?"

wtf?? Have we entirely lost our sense of humor?
There is nothing offensive or inappropriate (or funny!!) in that list.
Gov. Palin is/was a national political figure. She WILL be satirized. Get over it.
Save your outrage for the really inappropriate stuff (like a few weeks back....) Getting all bent out of shape over this will only PROVE what the lib’s always claim ...
Well, CBS is still blocked from my televisions and it looks like that’ll be the status quo in my house for a very long time. Screw Letterman and screw his employer!
Not too funny, but nothing outrageous, really. Number three is the only shot at Palin and its not even a spitball.
The difference between this list and the previous one is that this list is actually humorous and doesn’t read like he just wants to slam her, plus you are right, it takes shots at McCain and they are entertaining.
What he said was not offensive, the fact that he just cannot let things be is offensive. Again of all the things going on in the world, if I’m not mistaken, Joe Biden let loose with several of his Bidenisms this week, why must he again put her up for ridicule?
If he had one ounce of decency in him, he could have just commented on her resignation and wished her and her family well. But he didn’t.
Other than the Mark Sanford jibe, those were all within the realm of common (if unfunny) political humor. We shouldn’t get our panties in a wad when this fool merely pops off at Sarah. We should hold our fire until he attacks her children. Would he dare tell a sexual joke about Barry or Michelle? About Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank or Henry Waxman? Of course not!! But we can’t stop that. If he dares to “go there” about the daughters or Trig, then, yes, we should contact CBS, the FCC and his sponsors, but not cry “wolf” every time he reveals himself to be a cad and a evil sot.
I am with Palin, hook, line and sinker. I find Letterman unfunny, don’t watch him and wouldn’t mind paying the fine for the privilege of breaking his nose,.
However... inn this transcript... there is no there, there. No place to go and she can take this stupidity.
Lettermannn is likely looking for more air... he’s under water and going down.
Letterwoman could floss with a ski-rope.
Who is bent out of shape?
Must agree with number 5; I didn’t watch the show - and never will - but, unlike the last time, the top ten were well within bounds for a public person.
At least he didn’t attack the kids this time.
Not yet. Last night he just dipped his toe in the water to see how hot it is.
That’s so true. I thought it was pretty funny, too.
Unfortunately, they've gone up.
O Rly? I’d read that in the short term when it was happening, they went up but most expected them to drop.
With everyone in reruns last week, and several still in reruns this week, the late night rating probably won't be out again until next week. But, before last week, Letterman was still enjoying a marginal lead over O'Brien in total viewers, with O'Brien leading quite comfortably in the more coveted 18-29 year-old demographic, for what it's worth.
I pity you, Letterman. You really are a classless asshole.
Was he ever funny? Not in my book!
