The REAL Story from a Roatan Dive Resort
DIveNewsWire (Dive industry newsletter) ^ | July 8, 2009 | Ted O'Brien, Bay Islands Beach Resort

Posted on 07/08/2009 7:35:47 AM PDT by zipper

It is very perplexing for us to be here at the Bay Islands Beach Resort, enjoying the fabulous diving and tranquility, and see the shameful, inaccurate reporting by the news media of the political situation in Honduras, especially by CNN.....They won't let go of the erroneous idea that we had a military take over of government..... nobody is telling “the real story”, that of the resolve and pride of the Honduran people, who have legally, properly, and without bloodshed, removed a treasonous, lying, law-breaking, would be socialist/communist dictator from power, not through a military coup, as reported,....

From DiveNewsWire, a dive industry newsletter I get through email. More testimony from Honduras that CNN, Obama, Zelaya, the Castro brothers, Ortega, and Chavez are all birds of an ideological feather.

I give the Houndouran people a lot of credit.

Meanwhile back on the USSA - the sheeple are waiting with baited breath for the planned second Michael Jackson Tribute show and Stimulus 2.

Wow - DIVERS posting the truth that CNN can’t get straight? As a HGTV addict, I’m familiar with this dive site being a big second home for Americans. Thought about them when this all went down. Great to have them speaking out and getting it right. Screw CNN....

Yeah, you are right...we were on our way there in May but due to some unrest at the port, our ship decided not to stop there. Missed what I had been looking forward toward.

There was a naturalized citizen from Honduras at the Tea Party in Brookville, OH last week. Her opening statement about how proud she was that the Honduran people stood up for their Constitution got a standing O.

Things haven’t changed. Years ago there was some unrest in Tegucigulpa and our lovely State Dept advised against travel there. I as usual ignored them. When I got to the resort I found that everyone but myself had cancelled their reservations and I was the only one at the resort for the week. I was treated like a queen, but that resort and others had a big loss of revenue because of this BS. The Bay Islands are beautiful, the diving superb, and the people very gratious. Viva Honduras! FUBO

Sounds wonderful and, from watching the HGTV show, its attraction seems to be affordable water front prop - this stance of the Obaminton admin is a joke to anyone who is paying attention - that dope Hillary gets someone ELSE to handle it for her - REAL effective leadership we can believe in!

The media doesn’t report the news based on what happens. Reports are faxed in by the White House and read on the air. Saves a world of time that way.

Has uhbama EVEN ONCE noted the overthrow of a leader who ignored the laws of his nation?

Has Uhbama noted that the supreme court in Honduras proclaimed the ousting of that thug a just act?

Has our supposed PRESIDENT ever.......EVER........EVER SAID ANYTHING TO HELP THOSE SEEKING TO GET RID OF TYRANTS?

If that blue lipped half black half white creep, who cannot remember where he was born CANNOT put forth in words and deeds the FOUNDATIONS that make this Christian Nation (Yeah-uhbama you total boob, that would be CHRISTIAN NATION)), then WHAT IN THE HELL IS HE DOING IN OUR OVAL OFFICE?

Uhbama is turning out to be a very bad, horrific in fact, choice for president.

He is inept-a coward, an appeaser and a man who does not take his NUMBER ONE JOB OF KEEPING THIS NATION SAFE, PROTECTED, and SECURE SERIOUSLY!

What a loser.

Geeeeeeez the democrats in our nation have lost their way and become totally immersed in the blather and stupidity of the flower punks of the 60's. These freaks have twisted our nation's core values, presenting lies to the blue collar men and women who have made this nation great and blatantly depravity over dignity. They are Alinsky all the way.

I hope this Honduras test turns the 52.7 percent of the electorate who voted for Obama against him.

It's hard to believe 52.7 percent of the voting electorate believes in Marxism, as Obama does.

That pic makes me wanna dive there, in a big way!

That beach looks like a great place to start the dive — just swim out to the channel — and I’ll bet that tight portion of the channel gets some serious current flowing through it when the tide changes — looks like fun.

Meanwhile back on the USSA - the sheeple are waiting with baited breath for the planned second Michael Jackson Tribute show and Stimulus 2.

The sheeple here haven't felt a direct threat to their freedom yet -- but wait until inflation hits 15 percent, with mortgages in the double-digits, and taxes skyrocket (yes even for sheeple making less than 250k!).

The question is, how much of it will be reversible?

How many of the sheeple will be wards of the state, voting solely to protect their own government subsidies, regardless of the consequences to the country?

Yes, CNN's ratings are in the toilet, where they belong.

"........CNN bled primetime ratings points in the first quarter of 2009 and Fox News Channel led the cable news networks on several fronts during a news cycle marked by the beginning of President Barack Obama’s administration and a global economic crisis.

Among the three major cable news networks, Fox News averaged 2.3 million viewers during primetime in the first quarter, according to Nielsen Media Research. The network had its third best quarter in primetime viewership, behind the fourth quarter of 2008 (presidential election coverage) and the third quarter of 2005 (Hurricane Katrina coverage). CNN averaged 1.1 million viewers, while MSNBC had about 950,000. Compared with last year, Fox News rose 24%, CNN declined 10%...........Fox News also dominated the list of top news analysis programs, claiming nine of the top 10 spots."

I think I’ll start traveling to places which are supposed to be in melt down or where there is a raging epidemic. Probably pretty cheap rates.

Yeah — I know the diving is great at Sulawesi (Indonesia) but they have a little bit of a tourist kidnapping problem.

Maybe a travel agent could give a ‘kidnapping’ discount.
