"What’s with the Corsages & Boutonnieres... ... they are worn to keep you eyes from straying to her hips, butt and thighs. That is also why she goes sleeveless. Your eyes are drawn to her arms instead of the lower portion of her body.
Most well-tailored people use shoulder pads in a well-fitted suit for that.

And she rarely looks happy or thrilled. I don’t get that, I would be in orbit if I had what she has. I think she is not grown up enough to embrace it. I had aniece once who actd the way she did on wonderful occasions, her self esteem and sense of shame did not allow her to be in them and be thrilled.You nailed it. The frowny smiles are a giveaway.
