The Alaska governor spoke in taped interviews on ABC, NBC, and CNN broadcast Tuesday morning. She told CNN that "all options are on the table" for her future.

But she told ABC's Good Morning America that she recognizes she might not have political staying power after her surprise resignation Friday, which came just as she had been expected to elevate her national profile ahead of a possible 2012 GOP presidential run. "I said before...'You know, politically speaking, if I die, I die. So be it,'" she said.

...simply is tired of the hostile political climate, legal bills, and other distractions.

At least a sane person would think that the Republicrats would stop stabbing her in the back!

Head up the third party, Sarah, it's time!

I am so fed up with the GOP. If they don’t pull it together soon, we will be hosed until 2012 for sure.

Third party. Third party. Third party.

Put Sarah at the head of the party and begin campaigning (ala Democrats) soon and dog the idiot marxist to death during his 'reign.'

All evidence to the contrary.

I think she’s just tired. He son’s in Iraq. Daughter’s a young single mom. Other daughter attacked by the Media. Lawsuits against her. Dirty politics everywhere.

At the end of the day she’s a Mom, a wife, and a person who just wants a breather from the insanity she’s found herself in the past 2 years. Honestly, I don’t blame her.

Head up the third party, Sarah, it's time!

Does it occur to you that is disrespectful to republican leader Sarah Palin?

Has it occurred to you that the damned Republicrat Party has shoved as many knives into Palin’s back as the Democrats?

Governor Palin is the most fighting republican in America according to the evidence.

Sarah Palin says she’s not a quitter, she’s a fighter”

All evidence to the contrary.

______________

Depends on who she’s fighting for. You’re assuming her first priority is the Republican party. If she’s fighting for her family I think she’s done something rather heroic in their eyes.

What occurred to me is that she has a party and that you should give her and her views in regards to that, some respect, that is, unless you just want to use her for your own goals.

She is a family person....More like Bush and his family....except President Bush and Laura had their own family support group.

Lacking that, she's standing on her own two feet....FAMILY FIRST....Politics second!!! She's not going to have any problem living with that decision....so why are the media and politicians so upset??

P.S. Unless we come up with someone like Jeane Kilpatrick, it'll be 50-100 years until we have a female President. And, I'm still not seeing what the big deal is to that.

I'd rather see her join the fight for the life of the USA.

The Republicrats are complicit in our current ills. Most are Rinos and shouldn't be trusted.

Reminded me of this...

“If you saw Atlas, the giant who holds the world on his shoulders, if you saw that he stood, blood running down his chest, his knees buckling, his arms trembling but still trying to hold the world aloft with the rest of his strength, and the greater his effort the heavier the world bore down upon his shoulders–what would you tell him to do?”

“I...don’t know. What...could he do? What would you tell him?”

“To shrug.”

Time to root out the elitists in the GOP,
or start a third party based on individual freedom
and invite GOPers to join.

Sarah is the winnowing fork in Matthew 3:11-12, separating the wheat and the chaff.

If you admire her then show her some respect, she is well aware of the 49 “third” parties that would love to inherit her republican earned fame and influence for a short lived day in the sun, but that isn’t what she wants. respect her choices and knowledge of politics.

Fine but where precisely does she stand? Is she for abolishing the Department of Education and Energy? Is she for or against the War on Drugs? Does she want to repeal No Child Left Behind? Is she for Obama’s Afghan policy? Except for her support of giving more money to “special needs children, we have gotten soundbites and vague generalities about “smaller government’

Yes, the dirty republicans - who ought to be supporting her with all they’ve got - are the worst villians here. They care more about their place in the heirarchy of the GOP than they do about getting conservatives elected for the good of the country.

Steele asking Sarah to come on in is the spider to the fly.

“Sarah Palin says she’s not a quitter, she’s a fighter”

“All evidence to the contrary.”

Nope. She’s fighting with her priorities in the correct order. Protection of her family is number one. God only knows what threats she has received that we do no know of.

What is contrary is the left’s obsession with destroying what holds any civilized society together: the family.

As a woman, mother, and American conservative citizen, the attitude you display sickens me.

The ones you’re talking about are the elitists - those who seek political power in order to make decisions for other people.

This will be our first task, is getting the elitists expunged from positions of power within the party, or out of the party all together.

Sarah is bible literate
< Esther 4:16 >>
Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my maids will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish.”
