TIME's Interview with Sarah Palin: 'It's All for Alaska' (Slams Obama Policies as 'Immoral')

What do you think is wrong right now with what President Obama is doing in particular?

President Obama is growing government outrageously, and it's immoral and it's uneconomic, his plan that he tries to sell America. His plan to "put America on the right track" economically, incurring the debt that our nation is incurring, trillions of dollars that we're passing on to our kids, expecting them to pay off for us, is immoral and doesn't even make economic sense. So, his growth of government agenda needs to be ratcheted back, and it's going to take good people who have the guts to stand up to him, stand up to him and debate policy, not personalities, not partisan politics, but policy to effect the change that we need there. And allow free enterprise and the industrious Americans who run our small businesses and want to raise a family, allowing our families to grow and prosper and thrive, Americans who still believe in those ideals to get in there and effect change. I want to work for people who believe in that.

Two of his big platform issues right now are universal health care and your favorite issue, energy, his global warming plan. What do you think of his positions on both?

His cap and trade agenda is a cap and tax agenda, and it's going to drive the cost of consumer goods and the cost of energy so extremely high that our nation is going to start exporting even more jobs to China and to other countries that do not have the corporate tax or the equivalent of the corporate tax that the cap and trade — I call it cap and tax — agenda is going to usher in.

Sarah’s got more balls than all of the GOP’s girly men combined.

This was said so well it needed posting again.

You have been on the pro Romney threads and you have seen the kind of posters that push to advance the man, even now some of them self destruct in their passion for the scum bag.

I have been on pro-Romney threads. I have also been on pro-Palin threads.

I've made my thoughts clear on more than one occasion, so others can freely read my posts to see for themselves.

Like this.

"policy to effect the change that we need [economically]. And allow free enterprise and the industrious Americans who run our small businesses and want to raise a family, allowing our families to grow and prosper and thrive, Americans who still believe in those ideals to get in there and effect change. I want to work for people who believe in that."

(insertion of [economically] is mine)

Well, I believe in those things, and I want her to work for me, but I live in Indy. Hmm, in what capacity could she work for me I wonder?

I like the radio commentary idea, and I have no doubt that Sarah will take advantage of her new freedom to do exactly as he says about reading and gaining information and knowledge about national and international issues.

She doesn’t need a drastic “makeover”, or the perception will be that she is becoming someone other than herself.

However, the setting is about to change and she will need to make changes necessary for that transition. She is a smart woman, and she has the instincts she needs to handle it properly, imo.

Ah, yes I did read that. But we have the line...”Americans who still believe in those ideals to get in there and effect change.” before that sentence I quoted. She wants to work for people who ‘get in there and effect change’? That’s what perplexed me.

I thought it was the most interesting sentence because it did sound like more of a declaration of wanting to represent those people, but the previous sentence didn’t fit that scenario.

I take the scope of her final “that” as running back no further than my clip. She’s segueing from one thought to another.

I'm lovin' it and think she will turn on the lamp and expose the media and Dem as the vermin they are.

There are a few Repubs trying to make a stand here. John Boehner gave the Dems hell the other day for destroying our economy. Trouble is the lying corrupt media, who are able to engineer the message to America. We need to go after these vile news readers and hold them accountable for their actions and the results of their actions. They are going to need to hide from the wellspring of anger headed directly their way. If I were one of these corrupt villains, I would soon be fearing for my well-being once Americans have treuly had enough of their destructive lies.

Folks, this is not all that complicated. Palin is now the hunter and not the hunted! Alaska can go back to governing and Palin can now become the voice needed to rip into the huge fat target of insane, corrupt job killing democratic policies.

I can’t figure out if that caribou looks more like Andrea Mitchell or Katie Couric.

Looks like Katie's lipstick, but the other end resembles Mitchell, so you got me.

I think I’ve figured out where my interp was askew. She wants to work for people who want to effect change and get involved in the debate. I was excluding the two as mutual. *slap*

Still, that’s a pretty telling statement for those who say she’s done. One little sentence. You don’t want to work ‘for’ people if you’re saying ‘No mas’. Go Sarah!

she needs a hair-
_______________
I agree on the hair. I don’t care for her hair. It doesn’t suit her. She needs to cut it shoulder length, add some long layers and she would be prefect. Her makeup is fine. Go a little lighter on the blush, that’s it. Nothing wrong with her clothes.

Sarah Palin Slams Obama Policies as 'Immoral'

Liberals don't operate under moral principles. Look at their position on abortion, stem cells, euthanasia, Terri Schiavo, or medical procedures on the elderly, etc. Their positions on almost every issue are the opposite of what is moral. Shame? Outdated, outmoded - like a rotary telephone.

The only ones carrying the banner for morality (or who should be) are the Conservatives. The true conservatives - not the Conservatives-in-name-only.

FReepers who criticize her over her “lack of experience” or length in time in office are entirely missing the point.

They are not missing their point (Sarah must not be allowed to run or, if she does, she must be buried alive in scandal and invective). No less so than the 0bamatrons. Neither demonstrates any difference in their actions. Observe:

When PALIN/mccain lost the election to 0bama, Sarah went home to resume her normal duties (which happened to be governing the State of Alaska). Usually, there would have been the end of it. Not so with Sarah. The attacks following the election actually intensified against Sarah and her family. And, by members of both parties. I’ve never before seen the level of fear manifest in the political and personal assaults against the whole of the Palin family.
