What do you think is wrong right now with what President Obama is doing in particular?
President Obama is growing government outrageously, and it's immoral and it's uneconomic, his plan that he tries to sell America. His plan to "put America on the right track" economically, incurring the debt that our nation is incurring, trillions of dollars that we're passing on to our kids, expecting them to pay off for us, is immoral and doesn't even make economic sense. So, his growth of government agenda needs to be ratcheted back, and it's going to take good people who have the guts to stand up to him, stand up to him and debate policy, not personalities, not partisan politics, but policy to effect the change that we need there. And allow free enterprise and the industrious Americans who run our small businesses and want to raise a family, allowing our families to grow and prosper and thrive, Americans who still believe in those ideals to get in there and effect change. I want to work for people who believe in that.
Two of his big platform issues right now are universal health care and your favorite issue, energy, his global warming plan. What do you think of his positions on both?
His cap and trade agenda is a cap and tax agenda, and it's going to drive the cost of consumer goods and the cost of energy so extremely high that our nation is going to start exporting even more jobs to China and to other countries that do not have the corporate tax or the equivalent of the corporate tax that the cap and trade I call it cap and tax agenda is going to usher in.

I can’t figure out if that caribou looks more like Andrea Mitchell or Katie Couric.
I have your answer: party over principle.
No. Effect change is correct. Something can “affect your life”, but “you effect something”. Effect means to make something possible. Affect means something is influencing you.
Tsk, tsk, TIME: that should be "effect" not "affect"
It kinda has two faces, so it looks like Myth Romney.
We need to get a coalition together of the best Conservative politicians who will put beliefs and country ahead of the party and BS politics.
Guys like Hunter and Tancredo, get Palin, I’m sure there are plenty of others out there.
Couple them with Conservative voices, and watch the good stuff happen.
Now that she’s not a Governor, she can say anything that’s on her sweet, pretty conservative mind and have no fear that she’s taking time away from the State of Alaska . . . or that someone will try to get her fired.
She’s as FREE as you and I are. But I am not nearly as lovely as she is . . . you? (lol)
No, it has to do with your inflammatory and misleading claim that "Romneybots" will go to "any lengths" to "eliminate conservative competition". That's false, paranoid and absurd. Just as Global Warming is blamed for every Bad Thing that happens in the world, Mitt Romney seems to catch the blame for every negative comment ANYONE makes about Sarah Palin.
I'm just sayin' there's a lot of strong language on both sides of Mitt, but I haven't seen any anti-Romney folks getting banned. I may be wrong.
Maybe the bans were just about huge piles of profanity. It's not my call.
I absolutely love Sarah Palin. She is inspiring and hitting all the right notes, and I will be contributing $$ to her campaign, which I have never done for any campaign before. But I don't hate Mitt. And it's eye-rolling paranoid absurdity for folks to keep attributing every published slight against Sarah to Mitt Romney.
Thanks. Affect/effect are words that I have to double-check when I write them. :-)
It is kind of funny and telling that the article (on the web) ends with a link to “the fashion looks of Sarah Palin.” She has stunned these liberals. She’s a curiosity. They can’t think straight.
One can also say “you affect an emotion” meaning you show that emotion in your countenance.
Yeah, once she gets some platforms where she can say what she wants to say, I don’t think this is going to play out the way the pundits want it to. The problem is that people have gotten used to politicians who speak like lawyers because they are lawyers or are friends with lawyers. That means you have to carefully parse everything they say to see if they are hiding something in legalese. And they keep trying to do that with what she says and miss the point.
Mitt is a solid Rockefeller Republican. That’s the best thing I can say about Mitt.
And Sarah Palin has just stepped across.
The left's worst nightmare just came true.
Go get 'em, Sarah!
Mittwits spreading false rumors about potential Romney challengers? I never heard of such a thing!
Well, except for stuff about Thompson. And McCain. And Huckabee. And...
“...I want to work for people who believe in that.”
I think this is the most interesting line in the interview. How does one interpret that?
I don’t have anything to do with freerepublic policy and I assume that not every Romneybot is anti-Palin but after all that we have learned about the pro Romney crowd it is pretty clear that they are generally anti-conservative.
You have been on the pro Romney threads and you have seen the kind of posters that push to advance the man, even now some of them self destruct in their passion for the scum bag.
