Despite the results of the 2008 presidential election, Americans, by a 2-to-1 margin, say their political views in recent years have become more conservative rather than more liberal, 39% to 18%, with 42% saying they have not changed. While independents and Democrats most often say their views haven't changed, more members of all three major partisan groups indicate that their views have shifted to the right rather than to the left.

A lot of the liars calling themselves “conservative” now, traipsed to the polls last November and voted for the Socialist, who is busy re-distributing the wealth, just as he said he would do. You can’t trust the integrity of the dim wits being polled.
I don’t buy this for a second.
This may ONLY be true if the term “conservative” has been re-defined to mean something other than what it truly is.

I am so exited! After 50 some years I received my first telephone call from the Gallup Polling Organization. I told the caller that I had never been called before and then I told him I don’t answer telephone polls, thanked him and hung up.
There, fixed the first sentence.
I won’t believe it until this starts showing up in the polls.

You guys are both right. People talk about being conservative the same way people talk about being religious. They claim to be conservative then vote for the guy who offers “free” goodies. Lots of people claim to be religious but are never seen near a church any day other than Christmas Eve or Easter.
Isn’t it Rush who says something like: Americans live right but vote left?

The had a case of the “white guilts” which they wanted to assuage by voting for a “cool, Black, guy”.
It's not like these new "conservatives" are ever going to be useful.
You can call yourself a duck, but unless you have webbed feet and go “quack quack” you ain’t one.
This survey is akin to those with large percentages of self-identifying Christians, but who have no idea what it means to be one.
Yeah, this tends to happen when you vote in a Marxist dictator who is hell-bent to destroy the american financial system in “fairness” to the rest of the word.
