“Liberals claim Palin’s decision to unshackle herself is ‘puzzling,’ ‘bewildering,’ ‘confounding,’ dumbfounding’ ‘befuddling,’ ‘mystifying,’ ‘perplexing,’ ‘mind-boggling,’ etc., then they immediately proceed to explain what her motives were. Two seconds later, they're back to being ‘bewildered,’ ‘puzzled,’ ‘befuddled,’ ‘confounded’ — in other words, their normal state of mind.”

This is the liberal modus operandi... ex. biden and the economy. They state they are bewildered, dumbfounded, puzzled, confounded etc about the economy... then they reach deeply into their socialist grab bag and pull out a moth eaten and disproved plan and implement it because to not do so would end the world on a certain date and time just hours away... then when it fails miserably... they are back to confounded, befuddled, bewildered etc and back to the socialist grab bag of tricks.

Palin's biggest offense is that she knocked the experts for a loop last week. But if there's a core reason Palin is giving up quality Moose-hunting time, it's to do the job the GOP girliemen won't do -- taking it to Obama. Free from the stultifying lame-duckery in Alaska, she'll be driving libbies even crazier by campaigning for real conservative candidates across the 57 states and helping Republicans sweep the 2010 midterms. With that party-rebranding game-changer under her belt, Sarah Barracuda will be calling the shots for 2012 and making the fussy little McCain staffers who went crying to Vanity Fair eat their words.

As usual JH2 gets the bullseye award for accuracy in analysis. I am in complete agreement that Sarah Palin intends to go out and help us take back this country. There has been way too much talk about 2012. I think Sarah is thinking about 2010. That's what I'm thinking about too. Let's do another 1994. A little "deja vu all over again" would do us all some good.

Liberals and the Liberal media are scared to death of Sarah Palin. I’m expecting her to come out swinging once she leaves the governor’s office.

What’s next?

Earn some big bucks, pay off the legal fees, start running around the country helping the GOP, generate revenue, and be as visible as possible.

John,

I finally figured out at least one additional reason that the libs are so damn confused by this move; she voluntarily left an office of power. Liberals will break the law to win elective office (see ACORN) so they can have power, and she simply walked away from an office she already held.

That does not compute in their power-hungry minds.

I hope that whatever she says and does the next couple of years, she says it and does it independent of the GOP girliemen. She needs to show the GOP what a backbone is so that maybe they can find one of their own somewhere.

They might have said similar things about Washington, the Adamses, Jefferson, Madison, and the founding generation, because the views they expressed were and are diametrically opposed to all that today's "liberals" identify with.

Poor liberals (as well as others). They are in lockstep with the ideas of tyranny and threatened by any to dare to have an independent thought, whether it's about limiting government power, acknowledging life and liberty for the unborn, or questioning Gore's provincial views on global warming. Censorship of all competing ideas is their only defense.
