Gov. Sarah Palin hasn't said what she'll do next, but the offers are pouring in.

The Alaska governor is fielding proposals for everything from hosting a TV or radio show to appearing for various speaking engagements, ABC News has confirmed.

Alaska governor's decision to step down has many people puzzled.

More PhotosThough early indications suggested Palin was being offered an opportunity from Fox News Channel, today Fox News' Richard White told ABC News, "Fox News Channel has had no discussions with Gov. Sarah Palin."

Palin is being represented by Washington, D.C., lawyer and agent Bob Barnett, who has made millions for other famous politicians after they left office, like former president Bill Clinton. The Alaska governor will not make decisions about any offers on the table until she officially leaves office at the end of the month.

Meantime, today -- bombarded with questions about what will follow her decision to resign -- Palin has gone fishing.

Sarah Palin's decision to step aside for the benefit of her state is one of the most honorable things we have seen a politician do.

Obama's Alinskyites have targeted her and they do not care what affect they have on the people of Alaska. In fact, they wish to cause the maximum amount of disruption for that state as possible.

Palin, no doubt also motivated by the best interests of her family, steps aside knowing that she is doing what is best for her state. She has given up her job and possibly her political future for the benefit of the people she cares about.

Sarah Palin is leaving her office in the steady hands of its Lt. Governor. Contrast that with Barak Obama, who, after barely serving and spending most of his time as a Senator campaigning for President, left his Senate seat in the hands of Rob Blagojevich to sell for the highest bribe he could get.

Alaska will do well, thanks to Sarah Palin. Illinois, not so much.

What she needs to do is start her 2012 run today and start having massive rallies for the next 3 1/2 years against the socialist that is holding the country hostage.

As usual, ABC is behind the story, and has now gotten only a small corner of it. And they don't understand the ramifications of that corner. LOL.

FreeRepublic is, of course, ahead of the story.

The dems and their media minions don’t understand her, because she lives and thinks outside the box. They on the other hand, live in the box, and are perfectly comfortable thinking inside that box.

Palin’s popularity is soaring, her following is growing, and once she actually starts making the rounds of speaking engagements, and campaigning for conservative candidates, she will grow even more popular and powerful.

I’m hoping she will campaign in VA and NJ to swing the governors races there in Nov 2009 to the republican column. It would be great to see her on the stump again, addressing tens of thousands of wildly enthusiastic supporters. It will send a chill up the spines of the chattering class.

Sounds to me like Sarah will get to do whatever she wants. Considering what the woman has gone through, it’s damn well time she got a break.

Why did she make the decision to leave her position before her first term is complete

Why didn't she stay for the next 1 1/2 years and spend the majority of her time, money and millions of dollars of Alaska's money fighting ridiculous ethics charges? How about, maybe that would be a big frigging waste of time and money unless your a liberal.

I tend to agree with you. It would make liberal logical sense to punish Alaska for having elected Sarah Palin in the first place and then given her such high approval ratings.

I agree. Dont even want to give ABC a click point for traffic purposes and FR already posted it so screw ABC.

The ALL BARAK CHANNEL (ABC) needs to get a life.

Heck, if she just does Tea Parties she’ll build a great base.

She just needs to steer clear of the masterminds in the Grandiose Old Party, like Karl Rove. He keeps yelping about how Sarah’s just not going to be able to manage her time now that she won’t have “governor” as an excuse to say no to people. Huh? Isn’t that like saying she needs to learn how to dance but she’ll never have time to do that if she keeps going to so many dances.

Guess Karl’s afraid she’ll take too many of “his” speaking engagements...or mad she’s not paying him for sage advice.

Obama taught Alinsky and he and his people are supposed to be experts by now. But notice how little they know and how limited the Alinsy Rules are:
Alinsky says, don't go after organizations, identify people, isolate them, and destroy them.
They tried that with Rush Limbaugh and it merely doubled the number of his listeners.
They have been trying that with Sarah. All it has done is anger her and the conservatives, cause her to free herself from her constraints so now she is free to go after them in the lower 48. That will be their worst nightmare.

I hope, she has chosen to leave office and take care of her own. I’ve liked her from the first time I heard about her.... but, thought she was lacking in meaningful experience. I would have preferred that she at least had one full term as Govenor on her resume.

Still... I was willing to wait and see. Her performance on the campaign trail was, spotty.... at best. She has natural talent. She IS a conservative (which, I love)... and, that alone helped keep McCain from losing by 20 points.. IMHO... but, she DID seem inexperienced, and less than fully knowledgeable on many subjects.

Now that she has resigned from office, with less than 2 years remaining, I find it VERY, VERY hard to believe that I could support her for any national office. “Quitting” is not favorable trait to me.

If she runs now, she will split what little remains of our ‘conservative coaltion’....

I cant wait to see who the first person she throws her support to. I hope it is Rubio in Florida and hope she leaves the RINO's on the sidelines.

Maybe even design a litmus test?

I think you have your VP candidates mixed up. Sarah was the one drawing big crowds making good speeches.

You got the Romeny memo didn’t you. It’s amazing how many of you sound sooooo much alike. You all start with “I’ve liked her since (fill in the blank)”. Then move to her “limited experience”. And quickly follow up with her “performance” during the campaign. And do a nice forward flip finishing with the “quitter” label.

Someone on the Romney team needs to spend more time to change the script.
