ICC may try Kenya violence suspects: prosecutor

THE HAGUE (AFP) — The International Criminal Court will bring to book perpetrators of Kenya's worst election violence which claimed some 1,500 lives if they are not punished in their country, the court's prosecutor said Friday.

"If there are no national proceedings, we'll do it," Luis Moreno-Ocampo told AFP after meeting with Kenya's Justice Minister Mutula Kilonzo.

"The crimes allegedly committed in Kenya after the 2007 elections may fall within the jurisdiction of the ICC and warrant investigations and prosecutions," he said.

"There are serious allegations of crimes against humanity committed during the post-electoral" period, he added.

Some 1,500 people were killed in a matter of weeks following presidential polls in December 2007 in which the then opposition chief Raila Odinga accused President Mwai Kibaki of having stolen the vote.

Odinga is now prime minister under a power-sharing deal.

The government has yet to act on the recommendations of its own inquiry last October that a special tribunal be set up to try those thought responsible.

In June, former UN chief Kofi Annan called for Kenya to set up a special court to try suspects by August, or have them face justice before the ICC.

Oh, yeah? You and whose army, Jackboot?

Notice how quick these U.N. fuzzballs strap on the Kevlar if they think they can muscle somebody?

His Buddy? Obama campaigned for Odinga in 2006 and in 2007
while he was a US Senator, inserting Chicago Black Power politics into Kenyan tribal society.

Result? Genocide, when Odinga failed to win the election ( They Cheated! Sound familiar?)

In One case 70 old men , women and children were burned alive in a church. Odinga campaigned on converting 3 of Kenyas provonces into Sharia Law states, in Kenya, the vast majority of whom are Christians.Odinga was hooked up to the Somali Muslim Council, and Obama knew it.

And so what does all this tell you about Obama? That he is a tyrant, was a tyrant in Kenya, in bed with a tyrant, and now we have a tyrant as POTUS.

Doesn’t take much to connect those dots.

Those responsible should be prosecuted, but Obama has made sure back channel that it will never happen. Wouldn’t want the truth coming out now, would we?? Wouldn’t want us to see what happens when comunity organizing fails, neh? Well IMHO, what happened in Kenya was a preview for what Obama will bring to the USA.
