UAH Global Temperature Anomaly for June 09 ~ ZERO
There was a lot of speculation last year that our global temperature would recover (increase) from the huge drops last spring. While there has been some recovery, the overall global temperature trend since 1999 has been the subject of much debate. What is not debatable is that the current global temperature anomaly, as determined by a leading authority on global satellite temperature measurements, says we have no departure from “normal” this month. Given the U.S. Senate is about to vote upon the most complex and costly plan to regulate greenhouse gases, while the EPA suppresses earlier versions of the chart shown below from a senior analyst, this should give some pause to those who are rational thinkers. For those that see only dogma, I expect this will be greeted with jeers. – Anthony

(A temperature anomaly is the difference between the current measured global average temperature and the reference point temperature in 1979 when the satellite began recording average air temperatures. A difference of 0.0, of course, means that actual global temperatures have NOT increased in thirty years)

June 2009 saw another — albeit small — drop in the global average temperature anomaly, from +0.04 deg. C in May to 0.00 deg. C in June, with the coolest anomaly (-0.03 deg. C) in the Tropics.
(Note that the overall trend in temperature over these 30 years is slightly "up" even though actual global temperatures in June 2009 were the same as they were in 1979: At this long term rate, global average temperatures in 2109 (130 years since 1979) might be 1.0 degree higher than now. Monthly - and yearly - temperatures go up and down like they did in 1998 (up!) and down (like they did in May and June of this year, so the very long term trend is most important. However, the fact that current temperatures are actually 0.0 above those 30 years ago can't be trivialized when the liberal socialists are claiming global disaster at every press conference!)
Of course, increasing temperature means a longer growing season, more crops and more land available to grow crops and ground cover.
The increase in CO2 to today's levels means EVERY plant on earth is growing faster, stronger, more drought and disease tolerant, and is producing between 14% and 27% MORE food, fodder, feed, fruit, fuel, and seed.
Gore, Hansen, Pelosi, Obama and the ABCNNBCBS are (deliberately) frightening people with projections of 6, 8, and 10 degree increases in temperatures!
Nothing to see here.

Has it really been 30 years since the commie scum sucking environmental “scientists” were clamoring on about global cooling? Wow, time flies.
Of course, they are learning new tricks. It’s the crisis of “Climate Change” now, to cover anything the weather might do
Oh, and don’t forget to BUY plenty of sqiggly light bulbs and “green” products.
If you don’t spend lots of money on these products then you hate your future grandchildren.
But Al Gore will make lots of money.
“Climate Change” to me is even a bigger joke. I have a liberal friend that I have beat up about the global warming scam, so she started talking climate change.
I just ask about the science behind climate change and how is it the so-called greenhouse gases can both cool and heat the planet at the same time. If it’s science there should be a model that can predict where/what these cliamate changes will be due to increases in CO2. And once I get it back to real science they are dead in the water.
ahh, well then it’s a good thing that Bam is going to let Science dictate policy, isn’t it? (sarc)

It has nothing to do with climate change......it’s all about raising taxes for those in control.
Women seem to prefer the temperature about 4 degrees warmer than men.
That changes around age 45 or 50 or so.

If it’s science there should be a model that can predict where/what these cliamate changes will be due to increases in CO2.
If it wasn't for global warming, most of North America would still be buried under a mile thick glacier.
So if it was "real science", they should be able to tell us how much is natural cycle and how much is human influenced.
So are we talking 50/50, 80/20, 95/5.... or is it some other ratio?
Nobody has ever given me an answer backed-up with data.
