Breaking his silence regarding the resignation of Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin, talk titan Rush Limbaugh tells the Radio Equalizer that rumblings about her personal and political future are "all speculation".

Yes. Although it could have been a matter of coincidence. Remember Rush’s lunch with the President, and everyone thought he was called to DC by Obama?
There have been those on FR that have been looking into it....( think I read something from both. Ann COulter came out very supportive, as has Mary Matalyn. One of my project this week is to make a list and link the articles...(DOn’t know how much time I’ll have as I’ve got a new bathroom to tear out and put in.)
Early on someone mention the influence of Charles Krauthammer (sp) Apparently he had an article that listed several things she needed to do to be considered/successful. If I could spell I might be able to bring up the entire article, but from what I remember here is what I posted earlier today.
She already accomplished her goals as GOV
Resigning enabler her to:
FInish the book and get it to the printers sooner (according to FOX seven figure advance)
Go on the Book tour
GO on the talk shows.
Do the hundreds of speaking for pay engagments shes had to turn down
(She makes less than 100,000 as gov.)
Campaign for other running for congress...
Get the GOP elected.
Basically shes following the step Charle Krauthammer listed for her.
1. Shes gotten rid of the governorship, it had become a stone around her neck holding her back.
2. Decide of a few topic to emphasis....That was done in the last paragraph of her Independence Day greeting today.
less government intervention,
greater energy independence,
stronger national security, and
much-needed fiscal restraint
3. Get down to the lower 48.
First event scheduled in CA Aug 8th.

MMMMMMmmm
I didn’t think Rush would lower himself to answer a call to meet with DUh-bama. I thought the BIG PROJECT might be TV or a new book.
Hmm. So there’s definitely a book already?
This is exciting!
I continued to defend my comment, based on what I responded to.
Please show me where I defended Beckett’s comments you object to, or him for having made them, or him at all after they were revealed to me.
No, I was refering to back in December when Rush had lunch with W. It was a coincidence that Obama had his get together with the RINO media on the same day.
Going from an engineering degree to counseling ... and yet I still need stats.
The problem is that Mitt comes across as an honorable guy, but then you find out he’s not. Whereas, Sarah Palin backs up her character EVERYTIME.
:)
VALID POINT!
The actions of Clinton cannot be compared to “normal” people. Clinton was driven by ego and they would have had to drag him from the White House in chains to get him out of there. Fortunately (or not whichever way you look at it) the Senate chose to spare our country that disgrace, however much it was needed.
Time to let this one go. Hopefully, beckett is several virtual light years away, and happy on another site with other posters who are also calling Sarah a “pinhead woman.”

At the time, yes. But unless I have missed something, you have yet to address post #77.
Word is that since she’s stepped down it may be here as soon as Sept. Book tour to follow....(Even heard it would be followed up with a picture book on Alaska for the liberal that can’t read)
Remember her college degrees are journalism and political science...(wink)

There are some links there.
The city council is an important position, but I don't see it as what I would typically think of as an executive leadership position, large staff, and executive decisions resting exclusively on her shoulders.
As for being the mayor of Wasilla, I do think that qualifies. Still, you and I both know that level of executive experience isn't exactly top quality when we're talking about the Presidency. Being a leader of a Commission, is probably about like being a rather small board chairman. I don't see that as top quality executive experience either. When Carter and Clinton ran for office, I made the argument that that the mayors of cities like Los Angeles and other large cities, were probably more qualified than they were. I may have been off base to say it, but I did. When you get right down to it, I don't see the Governorship of Alaska as a major card either. I certainly didn't raise the issue last fall, but it crossed my mind. She didn't serve three years as governor. She served 30 months as governor. And during that 30 months, she spent time running for Vice-President as McCain's lifebuoy. I'm glad she did BTW. She helped the ticket immeasurably, and more importantly gave herself national recognition. Under the circumstances, that's spotty executive experience IMO. You obviously see it different, and I'm not trying to give you a hard time for it.
LoL! I knew what ya meant about meeting with Bush! I didn’t think at the time that Rush would have met with DUh-bama as the media were speculating and when he explained about his b-day, it made sense.
Just before Palin made her announcement to resign, Rush brought up a “big project” that kept him up till the wee hours. At the time he said it, I thought Rush’s “Big Project” was bringing back his TV show or that he was writing a new book himself.
heh heh
Thanks for the link. I'll check it out.
Not much to tell. Jim Banned her. She started up the Huffington Post.
I had no idea what it could be. Then he comes into work, but leaves after two hours (replays hour 1).
