Those little midgets can simply stop watching TV. I’ve heard the word “Christian” used far more in Hollywierd as a derogatory term than “midget”.

Just like all the iterations that “African-Americans” and “liberals” have gone through, each formerly acceptable term came to be understood to mean the culture or belief system that it referred to, and was then considered offensive, and those in that group asked to be called something else.

I just knew this was going to come back up when the fake prostitutes killed the wrestling midgets the other day.

Exactly right...They can’t control people’s thoughts, so they try to reduce their capacity for those thoughts by restricting language.

Hey, I’m Scandanavian. I object to the word “square” not to mention “squarehead.”

My first thought was that the “Little People of America” need to grow up.
With the passage of time, any appellation they choose for themselves will become frayed and tattered through less than flattering usage. Soon enough they will find “little people” is also “offensive.”
Dignity comes from the person, not what the person is called by others.

So, we should be able to use the N word anytime we wish? The government shouldn't be in the business of deciding what's in good taste. I'm certain you can find instances of the "N-word" being broadcast daily -- it's not "banned."

Yes .......... why not, they do all the time. I'm a strong believer in the equal use of the English language.
Lets suppose for a moment that the use of the letter "N" offends them because of what it implies. Are you going to delete the letter "N" from the alphabet? It's all absurd sensitivity crap.
Lets get back to the good old slamming each other ........ it's more fun. :O)

As a matter of fact you should. If you have ever spent any time among a group of black people, particularly those of a lower socioeconomic level, you would find that blacks use it all the time. As a matter of fact, the only time a black person takes offense to that word is when it is used by a white person.
You have the right to free speech in this country. Just because that speech may be offensive to one, some or all, it should not be censored.
This censorship of words has become out of hand. The more words that are censored the more difficult it is for society to come to grips with its’ differences.
