I just hope we don’t get dragged into another war. Our troops are stretched too thin.

We should get them out of countries like Serbia, Japan, and Germany (unless they are at a base/embassy.)

Dubious sources. Looks more like a message to the mullahs and nutjob, rather than the real deal.
BTW the Saudi Royals are just as bad as the mullahs. We have to become energy independent and stop propping up the incestuos Sauid Wahhabi gang in power.

Now who would know that type of info and be ready to leak it yo the JPost?
Did this come from our side of the Atlantic? From the Saudis? From the Brits?
Trial balloon?
It is certain that, besides Israel, the Gulf States are much more threatened by a rogue Tran than anyone else in the world.

Look back at the Osirak raid. The Arabs nations publicly denounced Israel for the raid, a denunciation clearly meant for public consumption. Privately those same Arab nations thanked Israel, since they were not too thrilled with Saddam Hussein being in possession of nuclear weapon capability.

That is what a lot of folks, even here on FR, don't understand. The Saudi royals walk a fine line. They know what side the bread is buttered and where the butter and the bread come from. There is a sizable amount of their population that is very modern and forward thinking in many ways. It is a very strange mix there from everything I have learned from Saudi friends, whom themselves are very educated and accomplished.
Sadly, like anywhere else, the masses are easily distracted and swayed. They are susceptible to the Bin Laden types. So the leadership has to appear to be “fighting the fight” to keep the masses happy

I think the Saudi’s are very fearful of Iran.
I also think it would help everything concerned in the Mid-East to have anyone destroy Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

“I just hope we dont get dragged into another war. Our troops are stretched too thin.”
Obortion will NOT go to war against Iran. He may want to go to war against Australia, or Israel, but not against his beloved friends, the mullahs.

It’s an orchestrated leak by the Saudis telling the Iranian nut-jobs “play ball, or we’ll let the Jews shove the bat up your arse”.

i don't see what's to be gained with a big downside.
they can/prolly will take heat now even from within.
and as far Iran listening to the Arabs, well... that'll never happen cause of the whole Shiite/Sunni thing let alone the Persian/Arab thing.
these are the type of deals where you let them flyover and await the outcome before you act upset or complicit, not before.
but that's just the way i see it.
