FNS
[another chuckle]
FNS runs a clip of Obama saying “we need to move forward, in a different direction.”
==
What?
So, what direction is forward actually in?

It would also free her from the laws governing how much you can make on personal appearance trips etc wouldn’t it?

If anything I support Sarah Palin more now than before ... --
I am ten times more jazzed about this move of hers than I was when McCain named her as running mate. She has improved her chances of reaching her potential, whatever that may be, and wherever circumstances and her choices take her. I detest McCain.
Clearly, she's a "political animal," and I sure don't sense any intention to retreat to home-base to defend only family.

I say the hell with them all.
During her exit speech, she said she polled her family about 'the future'.
According to her, she would reveal more about 'the future' later, but the votes were several 'yeses' and one 'hell yeah'.
I betcha that 'hell yeah' was from Todd and it was in regard to her seeking higher office after the 2010 elections.

She has deep roots in Chipewa Falls {That's where the twang comes from!}.
It's centrally located.
If the carries that God forsaken, loser state, she wins the White House.

I think so too. She’s going against conventional practices but after zero getting elected those conventions are not accurate today anyway.
To: rodguy911
She will now be free to give speeches and finally make the money she deserves. The number of people she draws to her upcoming public appearances will determine the result of the 'risk' she is taking...McCain drew two people (both reporters) to the airport in Manchester, NH early in his campaign...I believe Sarah will do a bit better than that.

wasn't Reagan given this same kind of treatment before he was finally embraced by the GOP? --
Yes. And as far as I can tell, he was never "embraced" by the GOP. The party went along because it was the best way for certain members to maintain their positions of privilege.
The "establishment" will always seek to control and use the public; and it provides positions of power, prestige and privilege in order to entice. It's up to the people to keep the government in check - the GOP won't keep the government in check, it will grow it as fast as the public lets it.

Sarah's gone rogue and I love it!
One thing I noted in her exist speech was her saying she would support other candidates 'regardless of their party' affiliation.
You can bet the old guard of the Grand OLD Party aren't going to like that.

It is disheartening to keep fighting over cap & trade or national health care when the real issue is freedom, liberty and our market economy all under attack by statists who are after power and money Wow what powerful stuff, way to go Morgan! Just had to be repeated does not get any better that that.
