You know, I have a feeling Sarah is going to tell the GOP establishment- especially ‘advisers and strategists’ like Rove- to take a hike. Her experience with the McCain camp alone has likely fortified her ‘do it my way’ vision that has led the way to her successes.
“President-elect Barack Obama had more votes cast for him than President George W. Bush in either 2000 or 2004. According to the Federal Election Commission, the official vote total for George W. Bush in the 2000 election was 50,999,897 or 48.38 percent of the total vote to Al Gores 50,456,002 or 47.87 percent. In 2004, Bush got 62,040,610 total in the popular vote to John Kerrys 59,028,444. Thats 50.23 percent to 48.27 percent
In the current election, Obama received 62,704,84 vote total and 52 percent of the popular vote....”

McCain dug his own grave long before he won the nomination. His choice of Sarah Palin boosted him for awhile but in the end it wasn’t enough as McCain kept making mistake after mistake, and his staff mishandled Sarah Palin.
McCain would have been better than zero, but not by much; and we would have a WH full of RINO’s today.
Boehner is on FIRE! Steny is dazed and confused and blaming bush.
“We get the inherited thing, Steny.” HA!
I think Boehner is using a very effective weapon against these liberal nutcases: ridicule. Laughing AT them will work every time to show them up.
And never a challenge from the humble host. Not even when a horse laugh would have been the appropriate response.
Boehner: our side is going to stand up for FREEDOM.
Go, John.
Stick to the issues, please.
It is REALLY good to see a (gasp!) REPUBLICAN fight like a warrior for a change. His stock just went up again in my book. He won. Steny was stymied.
The figures I had showed Dubya beat Obama’s total. Your figures show them close at ~62Million and change. The point is McCain spit in face of religious rights (for years) and other conservatives. If he would have tacked a bit more to the right he may have been more attractive. Point 2 is that a decisive number did not vote FOR Obama, but they instead either voted against McCain or stayed home.
I kinda like Newt. I like Sarah better but I’d support Newt.
That commercial with Nancy Pelosi was a bit dumb.
I had to go get a hanky :o(
“You know, I have a feeling Sarah is going to tell the GOP establishment- especially advisers and strategists like Rove- to take a hike.”
Proving how truly intelligent Sarah is.
Back under the bridge and don’t post me anymore troll boy.
Wallace, after playing a clip of Sarah, says we heard ONE explanation for her resignation.
His voice inflexion could not have been more snarky.
Newt is smart BUT he’s an opportunist and therefore an unreliable voice for conservatives.
Well stated, thanks.
If anyone is to blame for leading this last administration to stray from true conservative values it was none other than K. Rove.
A year form now all these media clowns will be begging for an interview from her.
Just for kicks, what's your estimate of the number of those votes that were 1) Fraudulent 2) Purchased 3) All of the above?
After growing up outside of Chicago, I'd guess at NO LESS than 6,000,000, and that's being very charitable. (Mostly since it's Sunday and I just got ready to go to church.)
