McCain either has delusions of grandeur (thinks he's POTUS) or wants to "lead" the GOP. Either case is dangerous. |

"We are not a people who fear the future. We are a people who make it," Obama said. "And on this July Fourth, we need to summon that spirit once more."Is he asking us to fight against his tyranny and oppression...?

Sorry John, but you do not get to give the Independence adress. Obama does. See John what happens when you don’t put forth effort and lose an election...Too bad for you...You crave limelight and nobody cares anymore.

Obama said an “unyielding spirit is what defines us as Americans” and led people during the nation’s history to explore the West, persevere during the Depression and build a robust industrial economy.”
L0L! Obama thinks we oppressed Indians and are destroying the planet with industrial pollution.

“Making clean energy “the profitable kind of energy so that we can end our dependence on foreign oil and reclaim America’s future.”
This from the same jackass that says he wants coal fired plants to go broke and wants our energy costs to skyrocket

“Today, we stand with the millions of Iranians who brave batons, imprisonment and gunfire to have their voices heard and their votes counted,” McCain said. “They do not ask us to arm them or come to their assistance with anything other than public declarations of solidarity, and public denunciations of the tyrants who oppress them. We have a moral obligation to do so.”
I stand with McCain here

President Barack Obama appealed for public support of his domestic programs And his poll numbers continue to drop as a result. Honeymoon is waaaay over. Americans are (slowly) waking up. Team O is a monumental disaster.

McCain should get lost. What the rebuttal should have been about is while America has been promoting freedom around the world, at home we have a Federal Government that is trying to strip those same freedoms from our own citizens.

I have lost most of my respect for McCain after that sickening campaign he ran. That being said McCain fought for our country and odumbo fights against our country. I agree with you there is a HUGE difference!

There is ONE thing that McCain and Obama have in common. By the end of the year, those few left who believe a word that either of them say, will have stopped listening. By December, 2008 will be completely irrelevant.
To: Wooly
Umm.. that was his point. Does he have to spell it out?

“That being said McCain fought for our country”
So did Hitler, So did Tojo, So did Mao, Did that make them automatically great leaders that we should respect?
And before you answer, I should tell you that I was a Chief Petty Officer in the U S Navy many years ago.
